...why in every "Wicca" or even remotely non Christian song, do I always look in the comments and find everyone fighting? I'd enjoy the songs just for the sound even if I wasn't Wiccan. Why is there so much fighting? Wiccans we aren't supposed to care, and Christians you aren't supposed to judge. Just enjoy the song.

At the core of all religions is one divine message...LOVE. I choose the Wiccan way because it resonates with me. Other religions resonate in the same way with other people. We all must remember that through the ages, it has been humans wanting to control other humans, that has distorted the true messages of the great Masters. I came from a strict Southern Baptist home. I grew up in the church, became the president of the youth group, yet I was never happy.
I am Happy now. I came across a book by Scott Cuningham when I was 17. I read it and became enthralled. I found my happiness in the Goddess. It is to her I belong. It has been a few years and with each book I get, each brother and sister I meet I feel as if I have been welcomed home. Blessed Be!!!!

I am disgusted at how people think that it is okay to hate and speak against our religion. I have attended a Christian school and was called satanist and beaten up by other children! That is not a very Chistian attitude! Teachers do nothing to help they believe the same thing. Think they wanted to burn me?? It saddens me that there are Christians out there that truly believe that they are called to abandon their free will and their individuality to be a devotee of their God. God understands all our issues. Jesus walked with us for just a short time but he experienced the temptations of our world & there are alot of them. He overcame them all and did not sin because he trusted in his Father.

No, Wiccans see a beautiful thing that is far greater than the prosecuting, narrow-minded "god" that you seem to belive in. I was taught, when I was Christen, that god was the embodiement of love. I came from a strict Southern Baptist home. I grew up in the church, became the president of the youth group, yet I was never happy.
I am Happy now. I came across a book by Scott Cuningham when I was 17. I read it and became enthralled. I found my happiness in the Goddess. It is to her I belong. It has been a few years and with each book I get, each brother and sister I meet I feel as if I have been welcomed home. Blessed Be!!!!

It saddens me that there are Christians out there that truly believe that they are called to abandon their free will and their individuality to be a devotee of their God. He gave you free will, the gift that, by your own mythology, set humans apart from the angels. You could choose to follow, but to follow anything to the abandonment of yourself is sacrilege and opens you up to harmful, cult-like behavior.

If your Lord is as all mighty as Christians say, then why would people who simply choose another path, burn in hell? It is not judged on the path the person takes, simply judged on how they act. Do not think just because you follow God, gives you the right to be rude to people who do not.

@fireloverbc13 I really do speak to God everyday. He wants me to see things through his eyes. Like when a parent teaches & guides & protects their children so God is our Father & does the same. He listens, God always has time, he is never ever to busy to talk to us & help us.
God understands all our issues. Jesus walked with us for just a short time but he experienced the temptations of our world & there are alot of them. He overcame them all and did not sin because he trusted in his Father.

Only those who Worship Jesus and the Father will be called a Child of God. We are all brothers a sisters, no matter our religion, race, or sexuality. And besides, its not what you believe that matters, its how you act from day to day and the good deeds you have performed. No, that is where your faith turns into fear -fear of pain and abandonment for an eternity. In one of those texts is the passage...

@KimoruCrystals He has shown you his heart and wants you to return his love. Only way you will come to him and be Saved. Fireworks would never work to win your True Love, God would never try to impress you with tricks and such, not his ways at all.
Jesus showed you all you need to know about God, he left nothing out. You will either Love all the ways of God or hate them. In this is great wisdom, your true heart will decide, no fakers can come to him.

You preach it as though it says that if you try to branch out and use the free will he supposedly gave you, you will burn in hell.

Yes, there are false Christians and churches out there, but that statement you have made is a far cry from the true and only loving God. How can you prove your god is real? I'm 14,and I'm already an athiest. I think the Christen church is bogus. They have taught me nothing that any religion couldn't teach me, including this one. Most of the Christen preists I have met where people who were drunk off the power that being the "teller of god" entailed them to. It's also people like you who shove their religion down other peoples throats that disgust me that at one point, I believed in the god you do.

In fact the reason the pilgrims came to the new world was to exscape religious persecution. And it followed unfortunatly. Look at what has happened in the USA's short period of time. And all because of the fear of God. I wonder what things could be acomplished with the love of God.
