I think John Lithgow would have played a great doc as well which was their first choice, but he wasn't able to do the movie due to scheduling conflicts at the time.

I'm sure all of us would like a BTTF4 but if they dont I'll still be very happy with the trilogy. Plus Doc and Marty would still be in the movie but the main actors would be their children. I'm thinking over possible scripts and I think I have a pretty good idea on what and when it will take place. You go Back to the Future!!!

what would they put in it? Who would fill in the roles? Not to knock people who like seeing movies make sequels 10-20 years after the last. They never really seem to capture the essence and magic of their predecessors. Usually producers and sometimes directors get bogged down in the notion that better graphics and CGI make better story telling. I thought they did a good job of closing out the story. It'd probably make people annoyed to see them try and recreate it again.

Yea I can see where you're trying to go but I'd have to say no. The Actors who played Jules and Verene are adults.. And even if you wanted to have cameos by the other actors they'd probably decline (it was hard enough getting them all to do 2&3) Too much time has passed fan fiction and actual sequels are two totally different things. Only place a BTTF4 would belong is in your head or some forum, it'd most likely be a huge letdown.

Honestly, without MJF and Christopher Lloyd being Doc and Marty I wouldn't want to see a new movie, they are a bit too old now to be in such a high action movie like back to the future, and honestly I never liked how Doc got kids in the 3rd movie, it isn't in Doc's character, I loved the duo (Doc+Marty, classic), hated the kids and wife. So really there isn't much they could do.

@adema103, Back To The Future 4 needs to be made. I would love to see a continuation of sequels from the previous trilogy with Michael J. Fox, and Christopher Lloyd. I would like to see Zachary David Alexander aka Zac Efron as Marty McFly, and Robin Williams as Dr. Emmett Brown. Let the time traveling continue. Hey!!!!! Doc you better back up we don't have enough road to get up to 88. Roadssss we're we are going we don't need roads.

These are probably the best films ever made in all of Hollywood history!! The first film was probably one of the greatest Sci-fi action adventure, comedy movies ever made!!!
