not if it violates the terms of service. If you agree to the ToS of a game, and it says that your computer may be used as a server, than interfering with the game violates the ToS. You can either let people potentially play off your computer, or not play the game, because agreeing to the ToS does not mean you have to read it first. It only means you have to use their software, as intended, regardless of if you paid for it, it's still licensed.

You don't seem to realize, that any software which interferes with the gaming running as designed violates the terms of service, and by the license you agree to when playing it, they can terminate your ability to play online for violating that ToS. Yes, you can run that software, no, that is not a legal use of the MW2 game.

If they decide not to ban people who use this software it is by their own choice, but that does not mean you aren't violating anything.

VAC banned a ton of hackers in the first few weeks, but it cant do much against the private hacks people pay for, so they have free rein over the game. The problem with this too is that any dick with a decent connection that gets host all the time can kick/ban anyone who is better than them, and the person being kicked/banned cant do anything about it (And they cant choose who they play with)

IW did not make you act like this it was your choice and beyond your original choice in game you should apologize for coming here and minimizing your responsibility by saying it IW fault.
