@pulsare21 It would never happen. Arnold has a deteriorating heart valve, I doubt he would ever be able to seriously lift weights again without the risk of harming himself badly.

@djdeimos1 thank you, I used Nuendo but I guess any DAW would do the job. As you can see in the 2nd part of the video (5:52) I had to split in many parts one track and edit the lenght of each of them (saving the pitch) to match the other track...

On youtube we could find "Conan The Barbarian" vid entirely .In my opinion i preffer the original one(great moment when we watch it on my HC when the horses jump up the cam....i got a Buttkicker LFE Kit...).

I really hope they never remake this movie or make another sequel cause I already know what it will contain. It will have "popular" actors that have fake British accents, a convoluted plot that tries way too hard, and fight scenes that are ripped straight from the latest anime or Hong Kong martial arts movie. Oh yeah, it will be 90% CGI because real life sets and tangible props are to hard to make.
And as others have mentioned, this is one of the most underrated movies ever made!!

This battle scene still hasnt been bettered since by any movie. Its raw and real. I would have loved to have seen Conans mother slaying some of the invaders, she did have blood over her sword remember? And the way she fought against her husbands wish to hide her, great acting, a she panther guarding her young, back then she would have been formiddable. Like a real life Bouddica.

This is a very good barbarian movie, but it is not 'Conan'. The original stories by REHoward are so much better than this [even in book form with the additions by Carter and De Camp]. In addition, the character describe by Howard is nothing like the one portrayed by Arnie. He was a barbarian, but was certainly not as 'slow' as Arnie makes him seem.
True dat KingObould...Shame they didn't make more while Arnold was in his youth. The books are excllent. Most people would be shocked to know they predate even the JRR Tolkiens's LOTR
@eoj019 It IS a shame more were not made - there were so many original stories to base them off. If you listen to the commentary on the DVD edition, the director talks about how they initially planned it to be sort of like a fantasy "James Bond" where every one or two years a new "Conan" movie would come out. Unfortunately, after "Conan the Destroyer" it just died off for some reason... Maybe because it was not as good as the first movie - which IS truly awesome and much under-rated.

This battle scene still hasnt been bettered since by any movie. Its raw and real. I would have loved to have seen Conans mother slaying some of the invaders, she did have blood over her sword remember? And the way she fought against her husbands wish to hide her, great acting, a she panther guarding her young, back then she would have been formiddable. Like a real life Bouddica.

This is a very good barbarian movie, but it is not 'Conan'. The original stories by REHoward are so much better than this [even in book form with the additions by Carter and De Camp]. In addition, the character describe by Howard is nothing like the one portrayed by Arnie. He was a barbarian, but was certainly not as 'slow' as Arnie makes him seem.

@eoj019 It IS a shame more were not made - there were so many original stories to base them off. If you listen to the commentary on the DVD edition, the director talks about how they initially planned it to be sort of like a fantasy "James Bond" where every one or two years a new "Conan" movie would come out. Unfortunately, after "Conan the Destroyer" it just died off for some reason... Maybe because it was not as good as the first movie - which IS truly awesome and much under-rated.

YES!!! Absolutely my Number ONE all time favorite film for more reasons I can count. Arnold and his body, going from your people being slaughtered to slave....then to the ultimate revenge of killing the one responsible for it all.
Simple story. I'm not even mentioning the music!! God bless all those responsible for creating such a great film!!

@DV300Runner Don't forget he was a slave who could fight n speak on command. Then was forced to leave his master kind of like a dog. If Arnie Conan hadn't have been kicked out by his master would he have spent the whole movie as a slave? He seemed happy to be a slave.

this movie is very ancient, and it isnt the true history of the past, that is what i like at this movie. it tells a story of a forgotten realm, that isnt real, and never exist. just my opinion, the best fantasy movie, with low product costs. the battlescence are realistic, i like the magician, this is my favourite character of this movie, the thief is good also. it is fantasy like ADandD, or the german version das schwarze auge.
