this is a great cover by a great artist. note faye created a different atmosphere despite the similarity (only minor change of beats) of the background. the name of the song is literally "cold war", so faye sang it in a cool tone as opposed to tori's emotionally intense performance

She's Faye Wong from mainland China but started her career in HK. This was covered on her earliest albums. She also inspired by Cranberries, The Sundays...Her voice is very angelic actually.
