I bought the Laguna. Yes, I did. And do you know what ? It is simply fun. Is it better than the A5 ? The absorption is not as good as, but still fine. If you are taller than 1,80 m, the Laguna is your choice. The A5 seats are for women and kids. Renault did a good job. The Laguna`s tail is sexy. Cars on the motorway automatically give way to the Laguna, because they are curious and want to see its tail. With the A5, they will block you...HaHa....

old lagunas used to have soft suspension for driving long distances on hot roads in france. most were diesels, so they clocked up a lot of miles. soft and dull to drive. new one is the opposite. what you must remember is renault has both a F1 and a rally team

guys i had own a 2004 laguna v6 3.0 and had it for about three years i got it new! after 3 years i used to still enjoy driving it around even if i really got no where to go !

you should have tried the 2.0 T GT... is a little bit faster (7.1 s 0-100 kph), and doesn't have a big heavy block out in front, so much more agile.

Personnellement, je trouve que la laguna est esthétiquement mieux réussi que la Audi. Au vue de la déférence des prix et rapport qualité qu'il y a entre les deux voitures (Ce qui n'est pas justifier pour Audi) J'opte largement pour la Renault Laguna qui reste une jolie auto et a une bonne motorisation

Laguna is much better than stupid audi a5 (a5 is for gays), Laguna should be compared with a6, not with chip in quality and noise a5. On a purely aesthetic basis, the Laguna is actually much more elegant and better looking. Anyone who says otherwise is simply not being objective and is falling victim to brand indoctrination. I mean, the Audi looks like just about every other Audi, while the Laguna (mercifully) is much more shapely than the dowdy saloon version

Essentie van het verhaal; Audi kopen als je het kan betalen en niet onzeker bent over saai overkomen enz. Renault kopen als je het eigenlijk niet kan kopen, maar toch maar een 2 deurs ding wil. Persoonlijk denk ik eerder aan de Mercedes-E coupe. Want die is mooier dan allebei, heeft een dikke v8 optie en heeft natuurlijk wel een paar sterren erop, niet een paar ringetjes.

@mcneuschris eeuuh turbo vs natuurlijke aanzuiging, tuurlijk dat die audi 25 pk meer heeft. Zet een turbo met dezelfde eigenschappen op de renault en die heeft dan op zijn minst 300 pk. Al ooit eens een stomme duitse auto met natuurlijke aanzuiging geweten die zoveel pk haalt uit een 3.5L ?? ;) en van efficientie gesproken welke motor zal het langst mee gaan denk je?

@laurentuseme Is geen turbo, want FSI, niet TFSI (althans de FSI heeft 265 pk) en ander punt, de diesel van mijn pa heeft uit 3 liter met turbo 270 pk, zie niet in waarom hoogtoerige benzine ding dat niet kan. Maar verder, goed dat je het even aanhaalt, de audi gaat honderdduizendjaar mee, de renault hooguit 5, en anders staat ie wel na een tonnetje op de klok naast de snelweg uit te branden. Dus lijkt me een logische keuze, heb je geld, koop je de audi, zoniet, druip je met de renault af.
