I was looking for this song for ages! I finally decided to check ITunes top 10 and there it was! Night Moves sounded so familiar. Great episode it was in too!
Oh yeah...those were the nights...jumpin on the harley and feelin the wind in our hair and partying with our friends. This is in memory of my husband Noble.
@flagflier1 I sure hear you, long lost days, can't count the number of lost.......When we road I always thought of this song. So sorry about your husband.
Can someone PLEASE upload bob segar and the silver bullet band, comin' home from the album the distance? to youtube it relay means alot to me, i promised this Girl (rly cute) that i who'd get the song because she only got it on an old LP.
punk chick, that 70s show starts with this - that's how I'm here : ) sounded sexy .. wonder what the whole song sounds like .. vdo's loadin .. eagerly waiting ..
@MrFarmerboy123 exactly ;D actually i've known this song and Bob for quite a long time now and loved it and him so much, but hearing that Jeremy love him and it too just made me smile so damn hard ;D
@WuffWuffOhFlashy Right! I cry for the kids who had to grow up without Seger and this kind of music. I mean, it made up so much of what we were back then, I wonder how kids can grow up without it today? It must be like a kid growing up and never tasting chocolate, or something.
@FLSHBK1 just raise your kids in tennessee, they will get the full experience, it's like being raised in the 70s only their is internet and what not. i grew up with all this music.
then again my parents had good taste. they were artists/poets. my father was a musician himself. he could play a 12 string guitar. he was a genius. to me it's sad, how the unknown greatness dies out. and you can't pull it up on you tube because they're fucking dead/ and unknown genius remains a memory to me.
@fishnetsNcigarettes You sure have that right. Tennessee is America's best-kept music secret. Not Nashville ~ that's too commercial now. I mean the REAL Tennessee. (No offense, you Nashville Cats). Spent lots of time around Mphs and in the JC/Brstl/Kngsprt Tri-City areas. Plenty of real home-spun musicians there, all unsung heroes. Seems everybody there can play something well before they're out of school. Hard workin' during the day (when there IS work) and hard pickin' at night. NC, too.
@Haseeebo bob seger is where the heart pours out my friend his music is as beutifull as a a flock of doves as majestic as an eagle bob seger is a man of soul and spirit, real music is found in his music and in his soul
i remember when my then girlfriend and i were at a trade school and we werent allowed to get frisky, so we waited and i went home with her on the weekend. and it was actually thundering anyways i can relate such a powerful song.
