I thought your diction was perfect and I'm French. You certainly "get" the song and are possessed by it. It's just that this song can also be sung by a person who doesn't have much voice. It doesn't need that much voice but the basic architecture and the work you put in it are both fine.
huge voice! It takes a while to learn how to control all of that sound. In fact, part of controlling the voice is learning how to let go! Good luck to you. You SURELY have the talent needed for a career.
It is difficult to distinguish different vowel sounds in this performance...the vibrato is obscuring them somewhat, but the pronunciation also leaves much to be desired.
I agree, this particular chanson calls for diction and lyricism, where as it sounds like she is simply vocalizing at times. But continue to work at it and make a joyous sound :)!
This is a beautiful song of Poulenc with text of Jean Anouilh. The singer was good, interesant voice, but too much vibrato for this song. The pianist must to practise the part.
horrible!

Trop de voix et pas assez de texte et tempo beaucoup trop lent. Elle chante ça comme du Verdi.
