I am actually agreeing with you. I didn't pay them the respect they deserve in my first post. I just don't see them as a worldbeater. That's all. I think that international basketball has come very close to parity among the elite: USA, Spain, Argentina and the other teams beneath them are also much closer to each other. I prefer this way, because now the US team has to EARN the gold rather than show up and accept it. I can appreciate good competition where ever it may come from.

As you said yourself, there are 5-6 teams of very high level in the world that have the potential to beat each other or lose from each other.

i am a greek american, i have been to greece several times. i was rooting for the united states in this game, and i did not get what i wanted. is it just me, or were these idiots yelling goal at one point. greece will never be better than the us at basketball. one lucky game and they get cocky
