Don't cry to much if it was a flop. Cary Grant was so smart that he was the first Hollywood actor to forsee the coming of the TV age. He insisted in his contracts that a get a major commission that anytime anyone of his movies replayed anywhere.
@gauchatche I'm sorry, I just don't understand why Grant's homosexuality (if he was gay, or bisexual or whatever, who knows after all this time...) would be unfortunate. And for whom.
@RokiaNY Okay, point taken. ^_^ I never think of actors (who I don't know personally anyway, even if they'd still be alive) as potential partners, so their sexual orientation doesn't matter. But I know that many fans like to fantasize and in that context the "unfortunately" makes sense. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding on my part!
Quite possibly the best film ever.

This is absolutely one of the funniest movies of all time. I haven't thought about it in years. It's going in my netflix cue right now.

@spiderorchid81 What's so mysterious? From the point of view of us females, it *would* be pretty regrettable if he was gay.

@debthebob
I have no problem with him being gay.
But I prefer him with a woman.
And this matter is now closed for 7 months ... You're too late.
gauchatche 9 months ago
@gauchatche What exactly is your problem with someone being gay? Doesn't take away from any movie he was in. Why is it that important to you?

It's amazing, this movie is a classic yet it was a flop in theaters. Don't get me wrong I love this movie but it really was a flop.
