  • This helped me passed my s.a.t. in 1996.. they wouldnt let me listen to it during the test. but i memorized half of this album every beat and lyric and i just played in over and over while i was testing lol

  • Pray for yo ass later cuz we might need u in this world...

  • mmmmHEYohhmmm mmmmm

  • o.j.

    not guilty...

    thats how they found he.

  • @bsommer109 A tibe called quest..."Tonight we gettin off like OJ."

  • @2cooldahomie I hate to break this to you but outkasts worst song (if there is one) is better than Eazy's Career...

  • nope 1993 was hip-hop at it's PEAK. Can anyone really argue against that?

    Tho 1996 was NIIIIIICE

  • I wish this shit was longer.

  • @AllyouNeedis1Mike STR8 UUUUUP !!!!!1111

  • D-D-D-D, Wi!

  • ATLIENS is the best smokin' music.

  • R.I.P BIG BOI

  • One of the ILLEST tracks and one of the illest HIP HOP ALBUMS I've ever known. 1996 was such a fucking year...All Eyez, Reasonable Doubt, It Was Written, ATLiens, Hell On Earth, Soul On Ice, The Don Killuminati, Hard Core, Stakes Is High, Beats Rhymes & Life...

  • @TheHumanBallsack 95 and 96. 97 things were getting different

  • @CaliforniaAngelsBOYY So true, late '94-late '96 was THE golden age in overdrive, but once that brief golden period ended, mindless bling bling pop rap infiltrated the airwaves and, well.....you know the rest..

  • Even in death, which is inevitable, Outkast will always be in my heart and soul! One of the best groups ever, one of the best lyricists ever in Andre! Don't get it twisted, Big Boi is no joke! "The South got suttin' to say!" Remember that quote?

  • THIS WAS MY SHIT N HIGH SCHOOL....

  • Nice beat...

  • WTF has happened to good Hip Hop like this?

    Shit has dissapeared!

  • iam listening to this album in 2011.......can u digg it!

  • @richbumz So are thousands of others

  • @oconceptz We want eazy

  • can't figure out which album is my favorite...probably 'Aquemini'. Luv outkast!!!

  • THIS BEAT IS SO ILL SICK , HEAD BOBBING LICK HERE, KAST THE GREATEST, ALL YOU OTHER RAPPERS DROP THE MIC !

  • Andre influences me so much, I want ya'll to hear "LimeLite" on my page.. not trying to Spam my shit on Outkast, but these nigggas held it down, I'm trying to bring it that level again..

  • Outkast Still the shit ,No comparison I still love it they musik and all ways will.....

  • GA

  • kast, ball and g, and ugk.. southern legends... legends period

  • 3 people are Justin Beaver fans

  • Wip

  • 'i felt the pressure like sun shining..while raining at the same time'.. dre

  • @2cooldahomie any outkast album is better then straight outta compton!!! im from Los Angeles and all those nigga lyrics dont compare to Outkast! talkin about shooting niggaz and gang bangin had been played out before 1996 and NWA has been poop before KAST!!!! have EAsy E talk some real shit like Big Boi Or 3stacks!!!

  • FUCK THE POLICE AND THE DOGS SNIFFIN THE DOPE OUT YO CA!

  • Wow it seems like I got on some people nerves by mentioning the eazy-duz-it on this. time for all y'all to go look up g funk and you gonna see outkast name right there. but the g funk started with the eazy-duz -it. If it was not for the eazy-duz-it. it would have taking another five years for outkast to come out. so wtf y'all talking bout

  • @2cooldahomie Regardless of who started what, Eazy-E was nowhere near the level of Outkast lyrically. Give me one Eazy-E song where he is spitting non-stop pure lyrical genius (and no, talking about gangbanging is not lyrical, at least not in the way he did it). If you think Eazy-E is a better rapper, you're entitled to that opinion. But don't try to act like he was on the same level lyrically/talent-wise as Outkast.

  • @oConcepTz Yeah i know. alot of eazy e's rap he didnt write it. he started really writting his songs in about 1993

  • @oConcepTz

If you really respect hip-hop you would appreciate its diversity. Some rappers are considered "lyricists" and others are more of the storytelling type. It sounds to me as if you only appreciate the lyricists and not the others. Some great lyricists for example include Andre, Ras Kass, Can-i-bus, Tash, etc,. Some great storytellers include Ice Cube, Chuck D, LL, Xzibit, etc. Rappers like Snoop, Guru, Erick Sermon do both styles well. & Eazy-E was incredible, stop hating.

  • @oConcepTz

I also would like to mention that B.I.G was great at both being a lyricist and storytelling type. Tupac was an incredible storytelling rapper, likely the best at that style not to mention a flawless poet. Big Pun is an incredible lyricist. Cube spits incredible street knowledge and GAME. Too Short is anything but a lyricist, but he's still an amazing rapper in my book! E-40=simply an incredible lyricist. Method Man does both. You have to give props to all styles.

  • It's a fucking challenge to keep up with Andre 3000, it's ridiculous how sick this man is

  • one of the best albums... the beats r insane....

  • This album is untouchable. 20 years from now, Outkast is going to be considered on the same level as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, etc. One of the truest blessings to the industry. AND, I'm a metalhead, and still appreciate how good these guys are. Talent is talent, art is art, in whatever form it comes in....

  • Jesus its been a minute since i fell back on this 1. So im going to keep traditional and let it ride.......Daps from Miami, Fl.

  • music is music. dont isolate yourself to a genre. dont limit yourself to popularity contests. i've liked just as many mainstream artists, in all genres not specifically rap, as i have underground. think for yourself you guys.

  • Cube wrote eazy's shit.

  • @MrDevinisfat nigga all I was sayining alot of these rappers used the nwa method in makin a tape. You can hear outkast on mainstream radio but not eazy and he had a song called radio and coul not get air play like outkast and nwa muzik is way better than this go hear the nigga for life album it was not the first gangsta reap album to hit numer 1 for a reason the good muzik fool so to you my middle finger .get at me on the eastside of san bernardino

  • @2cooldahomie well its not about who's album is number 1. Thats why people listen to Outkast, because there lyrics are to complex and lyrical for the average person, so they dont get it like you. And that makes it underground. But people like me listen to music not for the rank of the song, beat, hype, or hook. But for the complexity and deepness of the song or artist.

  • @2cooldahomie WTF are you talking about? Niggaz4Life is not even as good as Straight Outta Compton, and why are you mentioning NWA on an OutKast song?

  • no words for how dope that was!! 0.o

  • those who disliked this were lyrically human

  • high:)

  • one of the best LOOPZ

  • i want the old outkast back these boys was tha shit!

  • how does this album NOT get an XXL or 5 Mics?

  • @Famuboy2007 yea i was suprised when i saw this didnt get 5 mics as well, but u also hav to take in the fact that there were other dope albums out that were competing with this this one such as The Fugees The Score, Smiff N Wessuns Dah Shinin, Mobb Deep's The Infamous, Busta Rhymes The Coming, M.O.P's Firing Squad,Killarmy's SWQW, De La Soul's Stakes Is High, etc. 95-97 were the most competitive and toughest years for hip hip man, i luved that shit son!

  • @IceMann402 now hip hop's azz and has no competition

  • wailin with lyrics

    /watch?v=8dR_zXuZegk

  • Love to hear daps mentioned here .... no one gives daps anymore and daps is so much better than anything that's come since ....

  • Does anybody know what sample this is. Prodigy used this sample on H.N.I.C. "Trials of Love".

  • @HonestAble1 Lou Bond "To The Establishment"

  • @jaymojanglez Thanks Fam

  • who ever disliked this is a jackass

  • its 'doper than Saddam, believe the Nation of Islam...' everything else is right though

  • WTF! I can't even fathom how sick these versus are!!! I always knew Outkast was a legendary force in hip-hop, but this shit is their most slept on track of all time!!! Fuck! Dre is insane!!!

  • nah mainstream is there best slept on song

  • their old shit is their best and some of the best in rap history!

    so underated.

and andre 3000 is the best lyricst form the south. not lil wayne lol

  • @airwalking fool stop

  • i love this cd

  • ...that aint hip-hop you find that shit in the gift shop, but to each his own...keep that shit up outta my zone, as long as you happy then i'm happy...

  • 'In the zone like Keyser Soze, always a usual suspect, no check, all I got in this game is my respect..." Big Boi's first verse is fire from start to finish, and Andre's verse is as smooth as the beat. This track is a classic.

  • My favorite Outkast Song of all time

  • One of Dre's best raps.

  • In the song "What A Job" Andre' 3000 mentions this song as "that he wouldnt have made it if it was for your CD number 9".On the ATLiens album, "Wailin" IS track number 9

  • umm......you do know they had 6 albums with a "number 9" song right?....

  • brujh i kno dat but Andre' 3Stackz was talkn bout dis song go listen to What A Job by Devin The Dude its on youtube bruh go check it out my dude

  • Actually I think he's referring to Number 9 on the Aquemini album, "The Art of Storytelling Pt.1"...in the context of his lyrics on that song, it makes more sense.

    (i.e.: "We chillin like a villain and a nigga feelin right in the middle of the ghetto on the curb, but in spite all of the bullshit we on our back starin at the stars above;

Talkin bout what we gonna be when we grow up, I said what you wanna be, she said, "Alive" It made me think for a minute, then looked in her eyes..."

  • probably so.. but he probably talkn bout both of dem but i guess we have to keep our own opinions about it good comment though

  • outkast in my opinion, is the best hip hop to come from the south. after that its def UGK...

    both off the rikta!

    r.i.p pimp c and J dilla

  • goodie mob

  • U think UGK is better than Geto boys?

  • Not fair, UGK was a duo and The Geto Boys were a trio No comparison.

  • One of Dre's best raps. Love it.

  • BenJenny43 thinks this is shit and new school sothern is better. wata tard, this is real cooking mofo. go back to your 50 cent and try hard shit, come in here all insulting og grove. thumbs down your shit
