I do a cover of "Circle of Fifths" and remember that song, , get dressed, go out, get drunk, pass out, wake up and go home. something like that.. Damn it!!!! My heart is breaking!! Wow. I had a rumor this Bob had killed himself. This is very sad... in particular to see it verified here.. I couldn't find any obituary. I knew Bob since around 1992 just after I moved to Boulder, CO. Ah, yes... I too know about Bob's "Circle of Fifth's". I was down in TX for a wedding many years ago, low and behold.... there's Bob in a pic at the top of the stairs at the "Sons of Hermann' Hall in Dallas. Last time I saw him was in 2004, he was clean and sober. Thanks for posting this. RIP- K
I worked at the lawfirm in Dallas with Bob. I have heard him play this on more than one occasion. I always had a soft spot though for Lazy Summer. What a shock to learn that he ended his life. How incredibly sad.
