  • Was just lookin for Bob to see about maybe a visit to colorado. I knew him in Dallas and will forever be a fan of his songs. I do a cover of "Circle of Fifths" and remember that song, , get dressed, go out, get drunk, pass out, wake up and go home. something like that.. Damn it!!!! My heart is breaking!! Miss you Bob!!!!!!!

  • Wow. I had a rumor this Bob had killed himself. This is very sad... in particular to see it verified here.. I couldn't find any obituary. I knew Bob since around 1992 just after I moved to Boulder, CO. Ah, yes... I too know about Bob's "Circle of Fifth's". I was down in TX for a wedding many years ago, low and behold.... there's Bob in a pic at the top of the stairs at the "Sons of Hermann' Hall in Dallas. Last time I saw him was in 2004, he was clean and sober. Thanks for posting this. RIP- K

  • I worked at the lawfirm in Dallas with Bob. I have heard him play this on more than one occasion. I always had a soft spot though for Lazy Summer. What a shock to learn that he ended his life. How incredibly sad.

  • We miss you Bob.. {Bob played our wedding .. we played SXSW together.. shared The Circle of Fifths in many ways.}...The Cutlers

He deserves this and much more. ! - Bob O' Connor was not just a great musiician but a wonderful person. Me miss you so much.! A propos, more songs can be played for anyone interested from the CD "Kiss the Lizard", 12 songs and his second one . And Luka is singing five of his songs on her private cd, "Root of my soul", also available on request.

    Let's listen to him now.

  • Christ I wonder when you will ever learn English, dear Ruth:

It's a "TRIBUTE", and, for cryin' out loud: "YOUTUBE"..! ;-)

  • and Don McLean's words echo in my mind: ...for they could not love you but still your love was true and when no hope was left in sight on that starry starry night. You took your life as lovers often do; But I could have told you Bobby -- this world was never meant for one as beautiful as you.
  • to Bob,

    shown here with beloved Ruth

who introduced me to Bob's art
