You are right - it is not a surfboard.

It is a Powdersurf Board, and they are very different. I figure since I made it i could call it whatever I wanted. :-)

makes it look faster on the approach and exit but the quality is compromised. there is a time and place for everything, this was not a fish eye moment but i dont think we should care about the cameramans choice of equip.

The fisheye is a great choice for shooting skateboarding up close. In this case, we were drunk in the mountains just screwing around. I handed the camera to a friend and said, "hell, I'll try a kickflip". Two tries later I stuck it. My friend is not a professional camera guy, in this case he was just a drunk dude... so he was not positioned low and close to make the fisheye work to his advantage. Sorry for the poor film job....like I said we were just drunk dudes screwing around. :-)
