It takes years to get in good parkour shape... what a fool...
One thing I noticed from the clips of people hurting themselves was that they all looked like they weren't ready physcially or mentaly for the manoeuvres they were attempting. Lack of proper conditioning and lack of total commitment to the move = injury.
Fools get hurt in every sport; it's not the sport's fault. Like the old saying goes: you can't fix stupid.
I love this sport but I dont like how media said"Its not ment for people who arent flexibal or over 19"Beacuse parkour is a beautiful artistic sport that is ment for any body confident enough and dedicated enough to try it.Any ways nice interveiw man 5/5 this is kinda cool. Some of those youtube videos they showd ive seen.
Not realy trying to call it a sport.Just puting it in terms people would understand.I would like to call it Art but it would realy make sence to some other people if I replaced the word "sport" with the word "art" in thare.
that was some extreme bias from the last reporter there. None of what he said was based on fact. Pure opinion that was obviously uninformed. at least the news piece was a nice one and i believe it over shadowed his ridiculous little quip.
Actually not a bad news report, at least until the guy at the end ruins it. However if he represents the average person's understanding of it, then i guess it wasn't so great because he didn't get the point.
5.10 free runners are pretty good, haven't tried them myself but some of the canberra boys (australia) have them and like them. don't get ariakes though, they wear down quick, are heavy, thick soled and way too expensive for what they are.
The (non-quick) comment in the end wasn't very good (mentioning helmets that had just been argued against, for one), but the overall tone of the report was excellent. They might've wanted to do some more background and seen that parkour has been used in commercials well before "Casino Royale".
Oh, and also really, really nice to not have this mixed with free running and tricking! Thank you! :)
Well, even with that one, it's still a rather decent report. So I say it doesn't matter much. (And rather being compared to Spiderman's crawling and jumping than, well, the jumping of the Hulk!)
That was a nice aproach to the discipline. However the journalists can´t seem to stop making those sily remarks like the one at the end of the clip, I´ve seen that many times. Great motion in any case!
Omg i totally remember seeing this on the news three years ago!

nice report. what kind of shoes do you use ?
look similar to feiyue if im not wrong, at least they seem very light. what are those ?
danielteamashigaru 3 years ago
THey are feiyues
bbinn 3 years ago
no they aren't
i was wearing onitsuka tigers
i wore fie yues for a year, but I would often destroy a pair every two weeks, so I've owned 15 or so pairs... good thing they come cheap
jusres 3 years ago
whats better in your eyes ? tigers or feiyue ?
and how much for tigers ? we have only the "bad feiyue fakes" here in germany ... the "good fakes" cost so much shipping fee.
danielteamashigaru 3 years ago
onitsuka tigers, aren't they designer shoes? How do they compare to the 5.10 freerunners or the ariakes?
funmapi 3 years ago
The whosa wasas? I dunno man. You know too much about shoes.
