Borderland--How to get the Rider Sniper Rifle!!!

The Ryder sniper rifle is only availible during this mission because you're supposed to use it against the Rakk Hive. The red lettering says,"Careful....... You might put someone's eye out." The Rakk Hive has for eyes that, if hit, offer a critical hit point. They didn't do it to piss people off.

Hey guys, I just going to acknowledge now, that I havnt touched borderlands for nearly 3 months now, I've completed the game god knows how many times, so all I do on there now is collect guns, and that was ages ago, ive like over 500 guns, wouldn't mind giving em away either... ;) if I can be bothered... @45chainsaw The gun becomes unobtainable after the boss (or it might be when you pick up the piece), oh and the secret is it has A LOT of extra damage on the rakk hive and yes it is a little obvious

@skrili Indeed they do. I have a Mordecai in lvl 61 also. The thing is on my Lilith though... almost 40% of all the oranges i find are ammo regen weapons. Cool at first, but just lame when you keep finding the "same" ones.

@skrili - Well, with a high rate of fire you will run out of bullets quickly, and thats' why it's good with ammo regen. Thing is though, the regen guns are usually pretty weak. I just have them in case I am somewhere where i can't get a hold of ammo. Also, why would you want a shotgun with 100% accuracy? It's better with 80% cause then there's a bigger impact area which makes it easier to hit critical areas. Unless you stand from afar... The 100% shotgun of yours is modded, is it not?

@aronmustang69 its not modded i got it from a quest in new haven it has shock on it and 100 accurecy its not the best dmg but its darn handy i killed the distroyer with it and regen ammo i find useless whe have enough money to buy ammo and we always have back up weapons with uss

@skrili - The shotguns are pretty slow when it comes to ammo consumption, but trust me, with an smg with 12.5 fire rate you WANT ammo regen. I'm not talking about ammo regen weapons, but ammo regen mods with a real boost. The one i have now is smg-ammo regen 29.

Lately I've been using some maliwan mod that gives me 66% damage on all weapons cause I kill it with a sniper rifle to get good efficiency with it. @skrili - oh you mean a pestilent defiler? I have like 5 of them. The best one has 918 or something damage with 93.3 accuracy with a scope. That's the mordecai one. Siren has the other 4- as long thing with 96 acc without scope, 912 damage, another with 860 damage and 91 acc. The other two have around 400-520 damage with 6 rounds in the mag, the other had two. If you run through the armory you might be lucky to find one or two. Excellent against lance. As you said, they just obliterate.

There is a way to do this on ps3.

all you have to do is get the mission "brotherly love" or "a brothers love"

(I can't remember wat its called.) but DON'T do it yet.

then just go to the house and get the gun.
