He has played the harp live on stage, but not all the time, sometimes it's there for the spectacle and the part is played by another keyboard player live on stage. Apparently the harp can been a bit temperamental at times.

According to what I´ve read and heard from people, the first Harps he used (back in the beggining) did not have proper MIDI.

But nowdays one can with out problem build a Laser Harp that has no problem being perfectly synced.

Sory, i can't understand all that technical terminology, especially in foreign language ;-) So the harp isn't live or it is, but the sound is not played by JMJ? It's easy to see that his moves are not going perfectly with the sound...

it is live ;), he was actually one of the first artists that made a true icon out of the laserharp. The older ones were not so good as the ones of these days (more in sync) ectra.

However you turn this..jmj became famous for his magic on the Eminent and laserharp.

It is not a harp buta set of laser beams that are interupted by his hand. When interrupted they activate the sounds that are programmed in. They are like keys of a keyboard but they make sound when the beam is interrupted. The same sound is producible with some of the higher end keyboards and Moogs available. He is playing it live but the laser is just a switch. And a great visual effect.

The most amazing part of this is the woman's voice. It is so flawless that it sounds from synthesizer!

I know how that instrument works. Why do you mean saying "it is not a harp"? I thought, that this "set of laser beams" replacing keyboard is cold "laser harp" ;-) The sound is produced by Elka Syntex (he always uses the same syntesizer)

Despite all PB i'm his fan, really. And a few weeks ago i saw him in Wrocław (WAT concert) playing harp, keytars, accordeon live!

Harp creates its sound by the vibration of the string. The vibration of the string creates the sound. The laser beam does not create the sound it is merely a switch. In other words you can use a set of switch to create the same exact sound including the keyboard of Synthex itself. Your comment is not removed but received more than 3 negs which just hides it. I think it is neg towards JMJ.
