almost every indie band nowadays only sings about how miserable and depressing their lives are. the worse thing is that they say it as if they are the only ones who suffer in this cruel world. f*ck them, life is hard and its not just them
also, they preach like they are the victims of todays commercialism in music even though they will be pigs if they were as popular i hate nowadays indie bands' hypocrisy and whining

this was a really good time for music, its interesting to look back on it now. its great to see the obvious influenes from 90's in some of todays music. god bless the nineties but firmly believe that music of today is better than a decade ago.
Well, 2000 itself was pretty poor, but the 90s rocked way better than today. Then you had Britpop, Madchester, dance, even Eminem if that was your bag. Now we have Joe McbleedingEnery or whatever!! It even took a 90s song to beat him!
the 90s were fucking brilliant. The music was great, there was echobelly, elastica, reef, oasis who (were actually decent at that time), blur, then there was this life on bbc2 and euro 96. Fantastic
I love echobelly, I have a band and we cover some of their songs! they're simply GREAT!!! I have all their albums including B-sides. You can check poisonous mushrooms gig and watch our cover songs and original compositions.
@tom12mvp Seabass said that??? "Well... if thats sea bass over there...." "Ah,,, *grunt*".... All right, if thats what he wants. Put these on the tab... and this (engine sound) VROOOOOOOOOOOOM LMAO!!!
Yeah I read an interview with her in this book- it was called never mind the bollocks- and she said it was supposed to be ironic. I have read that book like 50 times.
