  • @Globaltruthnetwork1 What is this I don't even...

  • Ron Paul would represent that because Ron Paul promotes that everything be let up to the states.

  • @Thunderf00t what correlation has this event with the 322 club and the western shelf of usa falling into the sea?

Mexico, california, washington, the tristate western seabord.

Following predictable data on the 188 day aftershock period since two years.

  • It's a shame, I could learn and experience a lot, network with people etc.. To bad I'm just 17 yr old wit no camera.

  • im going im going :)

  • Atheists and Religees both fail! Both try so hard to make their point of view heard; that neither side is actually open to the truth. They miss the truth because they are so closed minded and stuck on trying to convince each other of why they are right. Go be productive and live your life!

By the way i hope your Rally will have good security; since some of those religees may try a jihad.

  • @Schplifford yeah, and the militant atheist community only think its logic and reason if what is said advocates atheism. they all repeat what dawkins have said and slam anything religious as "dogmatic". im deist myself.

  • @Schplifford

Well atheism and theism cant both fail right?

It's actually you, who fails here

  • ill be there.

  • I saved my money in a beer growler for plane and lodging - now if I can just go to the convention... pwetty please? I mean... I think Kirk Cameron would approve :)

  • my loosely catholic mom just booked our hotel. ive never been happier in my life. yay secular youth!

  • Awesome! I made a video and my crappy phone didn't record audio...Sorry.

Anyway...I see folks with money issues. I am going and have no clue how I am going to pay for it. My guess is that I am going to be sleeping in my car and eating cold Ramen. But I will be there even if it costs me my job, home, or my life. If you are between Spartanburg, SC and DC, let me know and I'll be happy to pick you up if my car isn't already full.

  • Unless anyone is willing to pay for my trip to D.C from California I can't go. Damn it!

  • @sociallogie Come on man, you're already in the USA, all you've got to do is cross the country. I would have to cross the Pacific Ocean to get to L.A. and then cross the country to get to D.C.

  • @ornitorrinco01 Well money is a factor, but I could get to LA in three hours tops. I could just do what the hitchers did in the 30's and hope a freight train.

  • @sociallogie I know the feeling! My best friend actually bought me my plane ticket from CA to DC....

  • @alwayshuntress Wish I had a friend like that.

  • @sociallogie I am unbelievably lucky and I know it :)

  • I can NOT wait for this event. I am counting down the days :)

  • Sorry I'm in Germany on a stag do :-) but bet it would be good

  • I'd leave her disappointed and unsatisfied

  • I'd rally for ZOMGitsCRISS

  • please like my video:)

  • Atheist and their gawd of reason.I am glad, not being part of this atheist cult. Being an atheist, I cannot associate myself, with this cult. If you make the easy decision of not believing in religion, gawd, etc., it does not make you rational. Also, we do not need prophets of the gawd of reason.

  • @KevZen2000

Good idea, be an individual and reject any association with other free thinkers, thereby giving you absolutely no voice in a democracy. Your submissiveness isn't impressing anyone.

  • Calling yourself a 'free thinker,' is meaningless, so that does not interest me. Atheism, is not a beacon of reason, its just a non-belief in something, that is easy not to believe in. David Hume, Burtrand Russell, etc, these are the types of people, who are rational, but do not deserve to be worshiped. Dawkins, does not impress me, outside of biology. I am not a 'free thinker,' just a person who questions stuff, but does not hold reason as some kind of gawd, just a method.

  • @Kloborgg. Being an individual, is what a truly rational person does, they do not hold any prophet as a gawd, they only admit the successes of a person, but they do not hold a sing person to godlike nature. Individualism, is necessary, for a truly rational worldview, but no matter they intelligence, there will be irrationalities, as the human behavior favors irrational things, such as believing in gods, etc. Democracy is another example of this.

  • @Kloborgg.Democracy is not a rational approach, its about what the majority favors, but many times, it does not consider the best outcome. Science, is not democratic, its individualistic, where facts, and evidence, determine what is right, versus what is desired to be right. Society, is the same thing too, so alot of the time, the majority is not right, or half-right to point, where its necessary to protect the minority, and the collective, but to keep it individualistic.

  • @KevZen2000

OK, well thank you for long pointless explanation of what democracy is, I already knew. We freethinkers do not congregate to worship anything or anyone (can you stop fucking saying "gawd"? it doesn't mean anything), we congregate to gain a voice. In a democracy (which this country is), we need to unite to get heard. It's sad that reason needs a voice but it is. Individualism is not the same as your isolationism. Cutting yourself off from society is meaningless and defeatist.

  • Zombie Plan!!!! RvB reference FTW lol

  • OMG, can't get enough of 1:05 ... Aronra is the only thing that can improve the view of an asteroid strike!

  • I dont like people shoving their atheist faith down my throat.

  • @luisbalderas Nice!

  • I'm completely against the idea that belief without evidence is a virtue, and all for the idea of skepticism and being the most knowledgable, logical, moral, philosophical, independent person you can be. This will be my first reason rally, and I am excited beyond belief (no pun intended). I hope you all share my enthusiasm and get to join me at this wonderful event.

  • yes!

  • I got weird look from my cat when I squealed "Richard Dawkins!"

  • @LoveSanji101The Bible says no slave is higher then their master so likewise in the same way I will be hated you will be hated for my namesake. The Bible says that in the endtimes people would be hated worldwide for their love and devotion to Jesus Christ some even beheaded. Read Albert Pike also, he discusses the three Worldwars. What he said about World War 1 and 2 already happened but read what he says about World War 3. If you are an Atheist it will be interesting.

  • @JamesRideout123 I will check it out.

  • Jebus is watching me? Cool. We have something in common. I like to watch, too.

  • Noticed the word "Probed" was used in this vid, couldn't help from wanting to do that to the blond in this vid. He He He!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL, and I thought LARPers were lame.

  • I wish I could go, but sadly I don't have the money, nor do I have the time, since I'm leaving for Finland that same day. A real shame I can't be there, I would've loved to have a discussion with Richard Dawkins or ZOMGitsCRISS on spirituality.

I wish lots of fun to those that do go, and please let your voices be heard!

  • what a fucked religion...

  • The world is going to end this year just as it always did and will always do. The kingdom of heaven is within you (subjective). The world ends every minute for different people.

  • The world is going to end. It's going to going to end it's stupid claims about 2012. This will be the most relieving disappointment for people since Y2K!

  • Shes so hot.. I wanna have the most dirty sex ever with her It'll probably make Christians and atheist's a like cry LOL. Yeah I know won't happen before the white knights happen to read this. Just felt the need to articulate it. K thats all... Have fun kids.

  • The bible rocks!

    Deuteronomy 21:18-21

  • @mightymaxfan

but my video response is NOT

  • *sigh* was it not on the other side of the world, I would go... I suppose that eventually something similar will come out on my country

  • Dammit AronRa! I almost had the key to Zomgitskriss' phone number! Maybe I guess I'll just have to go to the Reason Rally to get it. Hey, wait, that's... EVEN BETTER.

  • WAT

  • wish i could but my trip to Washington is reserved for Anonymous.

  • That woman has something that reminds me of Adriana La Cerva from Sopranos....

  • i was going to plan on coming just because of the youtubers, then there's others. then there's bad religion. i must go.

  • @Shamu171 and we all hope that someone can quickly administer a psychotropic drug for your delusion disorder... (maybe risperidone..) before you hurt yourself or someone close to you..

  • @Thunderf00t Stop the censorship!

  • @VyckRo I'd rather ask Thinderf00t to stop the awful impersonations.

  • Aronra zombie attack preparation made my day!

  • im flying from new zealand for this, then spending the next 3 months ravaging the women of new england...should be a good time

  • @Tryambakam Well met, traveler

  • Will the Reason Rally begin with a prayer?

  • @philipsidney That would be hilarious.

  • @philipsidney Of course. and it will go something like this: Dear lord, deliver us from those who think you exist, especially the ones that think you are American. Please summon them into your heaven so we get rid of them and their BS (We know you can't since you don't exist, but anyway...) In your non-existent name we pray R'Amen!

  • This is awesome. Wish I could be there...

  • The religious right are trying to make a mark here in Australia, but hopefully our more tolerant, laid back ways will ensure they never get too much power - though they do hold the balance of power in my state at the moment :( However, we do have an openly atheist Prime Minister :)

  • Tim Minchin!!!! God damn it, I want to be at this thing more than you know. I live in a conservative, Christian theocratic SHITHOLE called Texas, and I'm losing my mind being surrounded by fundamentalist Christian whackjobs all day every day. I need this, but I can't be there. It's so unfair... fucking bullshit...

  • @MrJerryTodd1960 The evidence for God's existence is CLEARLY evident. The beauty and design of nature is our best evidence.

There is no evidence for design in nature. Just that something looks designed is not evidence it is designed, you just have to look at the mandelbrot set (or any other fractal) to know that this is true. If you really look at the evidence you realize that the evidence for evolution is simply overwhelming, and that there is good evidence against design !

  • Oh wow, ZOMGitsCRISS is hot! Also, that song that starts at 1:15 is great.

  • @AtheistsFail Bottom line is, all you're doing is taking imprecise measurements and choosing the number which suits you the best. You also arbitrarily chose units of measurement which suit you the best.

And you throw in a few vague verses like there will be signs in the Suns which can mean ANYTHING.

I'm sorry but this doesn't prove the Bible is true anymore than Arabic text shaped clouds prove the Qu'ran is true.

  • @DogmasDemise regardless if you think it is taking measurements "that suit the best" the same formula is used. The debate would be what actual cubic was used to build these pieces. Then on top of that a Solar Eclipse confirms the design of the Universe. Proving that the Sun and Moon are purposely the size they need to be and purposely placed in their positions for us to be able to live and observe. But that's just a coincidence, right?

  • @AtheistsFail Please see the early parts of Why do people laugh at creationists (part 2 if I remember correctly). The solar eclipse isn't proof of anything.

I would also add that there are billions of other planets in other solar systems that do NOT sustain life. It's not inconceivable that we're simply one of the lucky planets.

  • @AtheistsFail So in your opinion we've hit the cosmos "Jackpot" we are a product of amazing random chance???

Nope, we are here because this life is suitable for life, period. If we would not be in the goldilock zone chances are life would be very different, or there wouldnt be any life at all on this planet. You are confusing cause and effect here, thus your logic is faulty. It is like saying you have bad eyesight because you wear glasses.

  • @DogmasDemise I would also add that there are billions of other planets in other solar systems that do NOT sustain life.

How would you know one way or the other ? Until we have actually visited a good amount of them or examined them through other means for lifeforms, your argument is simply intellectual dishonesty !

  • @AtheistsFail Then on top of that a Solar Eclipse confirms the design of the Universe.

Erm no it does not, no matter how often you say that, this argument is simply stupid ! There is no evidence for a designer, only wishful thinking and logical fallacies like this ^^

  • @AtheistsFail

    designed eyes?

if my eyes were designed i need to take them in for an exchange. that, or i should at least be able to bill the designer the cost of my prescription eyewear needed correct the flawed design.

  • @RottingintheMidwest Iit's not flawed design, it's fallen world.

  • @AtheistsFail classic... ¬¬

  • @AtheistsFail If this is a fallen world, why is it that some people are have eye deformities and others have perfect vision? Are some individuals without sin? The whole concept of a fallen world is ludicrous.

  • k-rina gets prettier and prettier as time goes by. What a beautiful person and HOT, too.

  • I do hope this Reason Rally fails. The fact is, the stupider America becomes, the less it "impacts" on the rest of the civilized world. Muslim countries may be "impacted" (not my problem, though it is a pity about the innocent women and children blown up.) But East Asia and Europe just distance themselves further from the USA. (Latin America is already pretty far from American influence.) So, go Bible-Belters, anti-evolutionists, Michele Bachmann, and Mitt Romney! "What is falling, push."

  • @hulakan

Well there are a lot of smart kids out there who can evaluate ideas and come up with sound views. Even the children of Americans.

  • @hulakan I do hope this Reason Rally fails. The fact is, the stupider America becomes, the less it "impacts" on the rest of the civilized world.

Sorry but i would prefer that the people with one of the the biggest nuclear arsenals, a big stockpile of deadly diseases (plague etc.) and one of the best armies in the world stay reasonable and don´t start nuking countries because they disagree on which religion to follow (though sending this many people to find out might solve the question)

  • I wanna see Richard Dawkins, The Amazing Randi, and you three. TheAmazingAtheist Should come too.

  • I really wish I could go. Unfortunately, I won't be able to because of work... and it's a pretty long drive from Honduras. You all have my support though.

  • You fast forwarded Krauss? He and Randi are the only ones that I really have interest in watching.

  • Comment removed

  • lol atheists are such losers

  • @atheistrocker100 Would that be sarcasm I see? It's pretty bad :P

  • @RequiemFear Ha, im not actually being sarcastic. I do think people who call themselves atheists are losers. Before you ask, my little sister made my youtube account, she chose the name, im no longer an atheist. Because they're losers!

  • @atheistrocker100 Fair enough, I can respect your values. But I do believe that someone who calls themself an atheist is just acknowledging that they have judged the biblical and theistic claims and have judged them to not have enough validity to be true.

  • @RequiemFear Thats not all an atheist is. An atheist believes this universe was created by mindless, random processes. They don't just deny religious perceptions of god, they deny that the universe was created by an intelligence. A deist also rejects the bible, but their not the same as an atheist. If someone doesn't wan't to believe in the bible fair enough, but to go another step and say they don;t believe the universe was created by an intelligence is another thing.

  • @AtheistsFail Misspell-Their own science, not "there".

  • @atheistrocker100 Thats not all an atheist is. An atheist believes this universe was created by mindless, random processes.

Nope, while you are correct that most atheists indeed believe this, this has nothing to do with being an atheist. Its like saying that driving a car is part of being a christian simply because most christians drive a car, its faulty logic. Look up the definition for the term atheist, and read it.

  • @MrRichardQED There are only two possibilities:

    1. The universe was created by an intelligible being/force

    2. The universe was created by a random, mindless process.

Which one do you think would fit an atheist? What else could you possibly believe as being the cause of a universe other than the two i have mentioned?

  • @atheistrocker100 Which one do you think would fit an atheist?

An atheist can have both positions (for example there are these morons, who think the universe was created by a race of very highly developped aliens, who have visited the earth many times, and with their technology where mistaken for gods) or neither nor and simply say we do not know.

  • @atheistrocker100 Holy fuck you're stupid. Also how would you go about proving this, also, GET A NEW ACCOUNT AND DON'T BROWSE VIDEOS TO BE AN ASSHOLE ON THEM!!!

  • @MetalMania666Pantera Sounds like you're the asshole

  • Damn, did I realy just post that to my self?

  • @MrJerryTodd1960

Just because you think that nature is pretty (or rather, beautiful and looks designed) doesn't mean that is evidence.

You might as well say that the sky is pretty, or that rainbows are amazing, or shooting stars, or even that the sun is beautiful and therefor God.

Go ahead, try your reasoning with any scientific peer-reviewing board of evidence and see what you get.

  • @MrJerryTodd1960 Our leaders and our teachers have to know what the real world is, the one that still exists even if you don't believe in it. Otherwise we're all just lying to ourselves trying to pretend things that aren't really real, ignoring what is -to the detriment of everyone.

  • @AronRa So true.. Atheists, Freethinkers, Agnostics and etc..this is the time that we should not be sitting on our hands and do nothing. We need to get together and organize us. We are bigger than evangelical Christians, we are the only ones that can think logically, and use critical thinking, to solve major problems. Instead of people who believe in this archaic mythology belief system called the Bible and Koran. They have the upper hand, because they're better well organized, then, we are.

  • @suzukidas2 we are the only ones that can think logically, and use critical thinking, to solve major problems.

People like you are the best evidence that being an atheist does not automatically make you logical or critical, because you do not know that there have been many great thinkers, who have also been theists, so there is evidence that being a theist does not make you automatically irrational and illogical. To me the biggest problem is your kind of thinking, not religion.

  • You guys asked for evidence if the God of the Bible has any credibility. Here is evidence that God used numbers in a pretty amazing way. -thefirmamentdotorg-

  • @AtheistsFail

    (extra note)

Just remembered your remark stating "This is where you "atheists" will never gain any ground. "

First of all that is an ignorant blanket statement that you have no basis to make, and second of all, Evolution has nothing to do with atheism. Evolution is a science - In fact lots of religious people (even the Catholic pope in rome) recognizes Evolution as being a real thing.

  • Any atheists want to try to debunk the math used in the video at thefirmamentdotorg?

  • @AtheistsFail

I watched your video on that site, and I've debunked it, here you go:

Diameter of the Sun in kilometers: 1,392,000 km

Diameter of the Sun in miles: 865,000 miles

The video uses the wrong numbers, and also by the way chooses just one of several measuring units for no reason other than because it suits them, and also makes an assumption that diameter equates to area, which is faulty math.

It is simply adding things together until it gets the number it wants.

  • @AtheistsFail

(cont about the video on firmament)

Secondly, the MEAN diameter is an arithmetic term for "Average" diameter. The average diameter of the sun is 865,000 miles.

Thirdly, the sun's diameter changes depending on what part of it you measure, which gas you're measuring by and also when you measure..as you may (or may not probably) know, the sun is burning and thus shrinking (albeit VERY VERY slowly).

    In other words: Video Debunked

  • @AtheistsFail

    (cont 2nd about the video)

Oh and the video talks about Noah's ark. A thing that has never existed, a concept that is absurd (2 of each species, really? you know how many species we have? 1.4 million species that have been recorded, and its estimated that theres up to around 10 million..)..and with those measurements would never have held all those animals..so its not just debunked, its embarrassing to try and use as any sort of attempt as evidence.

  • @DrDopehat Part 1 "The average diameter of the sun is 865,000 miles"

Wow, wow, wow, unbelievable. Like you said it is an average, there are over 6000 googles searches that say the average is 864,000 miles. After seeing this evidence of the credibility of God's Word you are going to say you debunked this mathematical mystery by assuming the exact measurement of the Sun is 865? Could it be that is happens to be 864?? Amazing! Do you understand the odds of these number being even close?

  • @AtheistsFail

No you know what is unbelievable? That you ignored *ALL OTHER PROBLEMS* with the video that I pointed out, including the one about the sun change size, and measurement depending on which gas you measure, and that Diameter has *nothing* to do with Area, even less with the Area of Noah's arc.

The sun is 1,392,000 km in diameter (using the correct units that science employs), that corresponds to 864.948 miles, ie 52 miles from being 865.000, you're simply wrong.

  • @AtheistsFail

    (cont "unbelievable")

Furthermore I am in fact so unimpressed with the pitiful pseudoscience that this video tries to pull have, having watched the whole thing, that I am embarrassed on your behalf for thinking it proves anything.

It literally stitches together, frankenstein style, things that don't belong together in such an obvious way that you'd have to be extraordinarily ignorant about science in order to think it means anything at all.

  • @DrDopehat (Part 2) The same exact formula for both Ark's measurements are used and the numbers hit the SUN and the MOON practically on the head from the best that we know of the Sun and Moon's diameter. You sir amaze me, you can try to stick your head in the sand on this one, but I guarantee this shook your atheist world. Are you suggesting this is a coincidence???

  • @AtheistsFail Wow..impressive.....not.!!!

    1 Kings 7:23

23 He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits[a] to measure around it.

Value of PI is 3 as stated in the bible. How accurate? No need to go that far of measuring any sun or moon.

  • @mykegoh Red Herring Alert. Focus young one.

  • @AtheistsFail OH u're not atlking abt the bible god. Then i'm talking abt the bible god. What are u talking abt? Science?

  • @AtheistsFail

    (cont 2 "unbelievable")

Finally even if it were 864.000, its a number..this isn't numerology, nor the dark ages. the number 864 appears in lots of places outside the bible, not just with the sun. You can not possibly begin to think that because 2 numbers are in the bibles and sun and the moon, it nullifies all other science and proves God..seriously?

The only thing that is shaking is my head.

  • @AtheistsFail

Oh and additionally, the moon's diameter is 2159,2 miles..not 2160...again the video is simply editing and tweaking values to suit its purpose, and you're attempting to cover it up. Your *best* response so far (which is extremely poor), is to say that there are 6.000 results on google that support you - In that case, prove it..tell me exactly what you put into google that will show me those 6.000 results.

I can back up my facts, can you?

  • @DrDopehat Lol, OMGoodness. You are scrapping the bottom of the barrel for things to refute about the video. What you are experiencing is PRIDE, you know these numbers are amazing but you downgrade these FACTS to sooth your ego.

    "the moon's diameter is 2159,2 miles..not 2160"

I literally LOL when I read this.

Google "Sun diameter 864,000 miles". Tell you what go further your knowledge, look up solar eclipses and what takes place during one, tell me that is a coincidence also.

  • @AtheistsFail

Just to quote a few of the *90* results of that google search phrase you gave me:

    Explore: Divine Designs

The Dimensions of Paradise: Sacred Geometry

    Ancient Egypt's Theory of Everything

    The_House_of_YAHWEH

    God's Secret Language of Numbers

    Ishtar's Gate

2012 the end of the world

With only a few non-religious references..Please, come off it and look yourself in the mirror. Its not just about the numbers, read the rest of what I said or concede.

  • @DrDopehat Come off what??? Does the math line up or not? It is the SAME FORMULA!!! Do you not understand that?

  • @AtheistsFail

The math does not line up, I've already shown you that. I've also shown you that Area has nothing to do with Diameter. Here is a neat trick to show you how utterly meaningless the comparison is.

The moon Nereid belongs to Neptune. It's rather eccentric orbital path around Neptune means that it is sometimes 864.000 miles from Neptune..Coincidence????

It is absolute nonsense to suggest that number means anything.

  • @DrDopehat Wow, I never said area had anything to do with diameter. Did you watch the video?

Area of Noah's Ark= Same numbers 864 Diameter of the actual size of the Sun (not the distance from Earth to the Sun)

Area Ark of the Covenant= Diameter of the actual size of the moon (not the distance from earth to the moon).

    Same with the Pillars.

    Get it???
