  • great job, dude-thanks.

  • 1:33 = .I.

  • than you so much! Finally there is someone who can teach how to play guitar :D

    Keep On Rocking!

  • Pay attention kids. This how you you play with feel and groove on a riff.

  • pause it on 37 seconds exactly he looks so gay

  • Hey, aren't you the guy from fast Times at Ridegemnont High that was always playing the women?

  • What is the Tuning of you guitar? Im new to this :)

  • So, are my frets shorter than yours, or do you have a really stretchy little finger? :)

  • what effects are you using

  • it's so hard to stretch the god damn pinky!!

  • its better to play the 7th and 8th fret on the d string instead of stretching on the a string

  • Thank you SOO much for posting the verse as well and not just the riff! I couldn't tell you how many "lessons" I had to sort through.

  • which amplifier is he using there?

  • @DocL33t a fender champ

  • @mtbxcfreak May acctually be a superchamp sorry

  • great lesson, justin

but, how come there's a link to justin bieber freestyling, walk this way, calgary something on the right??? :))

  • thx for the verse thing dude, I always forget how the rhythm goes and it helps a lot to be able to listen to it over and over.

  • best guitar teacher I've ever seen

  • you're going pretty fast with this song. can hardly keep up. same case for your layla lesson

  • @Illyriametal really? i'm 12 years old with heavy strings and i can keep up just fine. maybe i'm just awesome :D

  • @ThirteenPeeps this isn;t about strings pall. it's just a bit hard to keep up.everyone has their own learning and following speed.

oh, and the awesome part. beter rethink that. just cause you can play heavy strings doesn't mean a thing

  • @Illyriametal dude, take it easy it was just a joke.

  • Thanks Justin, You are the first person I've seen on you tube who knows how to play that verse part down in C 8th fret.I have always struggled with figuring that part out!

  • Great video lesson!

  • great video but once again I am not able to find the stuff "More tips on getting the verse right on the web side"

Can anyone hepl me find that, please

  • Hi Justin, I think your awesome...... Your so cool!! I LIKED you.

  • man, i have tried to work this out for years... watched your vid, bang on... Cheers bud...

  • Justin once again I must thank you... Your lessons are the BEST... But again what can you say bad about a guy who worked with Katie ;-) LM

  • you kinda look like norm macdonald, without the gambling addiction

  • i love ur videos!! u should really have more people watching this! keep it up! :)

  • @whitepiggy98 @whitepiggy98 he means play an open string (no finger on a fret) on the A string, the second fret on the D string, and the second fret on the G string

  • I love you!

  • The Quality of the video is damn brilliant. You're doing a great job Justin, Thankyou!

    :)

  • great lesson. verse riff is a bit tricky and couldn't figure it out on my own. thanks

  • best verse part played on youtube! theres alot of people getting it wrong. this has the feel and funk to it!! great job mate!! even marty my favourite teacher on here doesnt get it right! ill be checking out more of your stuff now! cheers.

  • I think it's much easier to (for the verse riff) put your middle finger on the 5th string 10th and your ring finger on the 4th string tenth, less chaos for your little finger and if you palm mute it right you can't tell the difference sound-wise.

  • Justin I'm begging you to do a full lesson of Dream On. You probably haven't heard it in a little while so just give it a quick listen and you will see it must be played by thousands of guitarists throughout the world and they must learn it from you, the greatest guitar teacher on youtube! So pleaaaaase teach it buddy! Thanks!!

  • whats that thing on your sg's head?

  • this is one of the koolest songs eva!!!!:):)

  • Pretty awesome lesson, but I really dislike your guitar. Sorry! I have just never liked that style.

  • the guitar riffs are the only thing I like about aerosmith.

  • I THINK YOUR THE BEST GUITAR TEACHER ON YOUTUBE!!!

    AWSOME TUTORIALS

  • Gooooooood

  • Bravissimo, thanx

  • Hi Justin, I also have the Super champ XD but I'm getting a lot of hiss/buzz especially on the hi gain voice settings. Any idea of the cause?

  • sos un fenomeno!!!!!!!!

  • Well off mate love it! Can wait to dig in and learn this song! Cheers from the states!

  • Great job as always Justin!

  • Hey Justin! Great lesson here. I got the first riff down pretty easily. I admit i'm having some trouble with the second riff, but I'm just going to keep working on it. It's a bit more challenging. Cheers.

  • he's back!!!!

  • @JustinSandercoe I think they're talking about the redesigned YouTube homepage ... the first time you see it, it's a mess :)

  • @monobl0ck i was about to say that too ;)

  • very cool riff to belt out in front of some people.love the lesson

  • I would say about 90% of the songs I've learned on guitar have come from this channel. Awesome lesson!

  • "If I could walk that way I wouldn't need the ointment!"

  • Seriously, what songs DON'T you know.

  • @TyroneBigumms I can proudly say I couldn't name a single Justin Bieber song, let alone play one!!

  • @JustinSandercoe Keep it that way and keep the lessons coming man great job

  • @JustinSandercoe Good man! Im ashamed to say I could name one though... but that's simply due to the fact that I was curious as to know why one of his songs had 540 million views.

I still can't answer that question.

  • @JustinSandercoe I'll say I had never heard of him until i saw his name in every comment thread. I h8 h8ers 4 making his existance known 2 me.

Anyway, wanted 2 thank u 4 the verse this was the 1st i found that covered it. Also, the 1st of your lessons I've seen I like the quick straight forward 2 the point. H8 sitting through the short bus lessons, u got my sub.

  • @JustinSandercoe u r a lucky man

  • @JustinSandercoe i only know who that is when I google'd Justin songs :P

  • @TyroneBigumms it's not about knowing or not knowing.Once u r a well experienced and skilled guitarist,u can blaze through any tabs online in a heartbeat and learn lengthy complicated solos in a day.The ultimate goal is to learn to transcribe any song u hear just by listening to it which Justin must have easily achieved quite some time ago

  • I wish I could pay Justin for guitar lessons, too bad I live in NJ.

Anyone know of any good guitar teachers in NJ?

  • The pinky stuff is really hard, I can't reach the notes

  • your incredible

  • awesome SG!

  • I find it more comfortable to slide at the start rather than pick each string, Sounds good too. THANKS

  • Thanks this should help me figure out the verses. And is that one of those old Fender Super Champs?

  • the pinky stuff looks really hard (Y)

  • Thank you - I always struggled with the second part!

  • Great lesson.

  • is that the superchamp on this vid? if so, what model are you on, or are you running a pedal? just curious..... have a scxd myself with a modest speaker upgrade & dig it for the most part.

  • @paulygit it's one of the old Super Champs, 80's I think... no modelling stuff. no pedals.

  • Almost missed this because of the new homepage layout. ._.

Love this song, this gives me a good chance to try and learn it again. Thanks Justin!

  • @PotatoHandle Follow me on twitter to get updates of every lesson as soon as they are made public!

  • @PotatoHandle Ya, the new homepage gives me a headache!!

  • @PotatoHandle Same here , i just hate the new layout ! :-(((

  • @mindcrazer what new homepage layout are guys you talking about?? it has not changed in a couple of years!! and new lessons are always added to the "latest 10 lessons" bit on the front page!

  • @JustinSandercoe Nope not over here Belgium,Europe. A few weeks ago you could chose for the new layout and now they just changed it . And yes,its a mess :-(

  • @PotatoHandle The new homepage layout is retarded.

  • What amp is that? Looks like a Superchamp XD

  • @jjulch that's because it is

  • Justin, you're a great guitarist and teacher- musically on the money, the real thing. And you're a great person for doing for no money! Bless you and don't change.

  • Great Justin! If would take any suggestions, I would love to see more Metallica, such as "One" :D or "Swing Life Away (acoustic)" by Rise Against. :D

  • Cheers Justin thats brill m8

  • Damn that's a shiny SG.

  • Brilliant.

  • awesome lesson, i love this riff!!

  • Flick off?! Just who are you flickin off? :)

  • Yes! Finally, a lesson teaching the CORRECT rhythm/verse part!

The only reason I like the original over the Run-D.M.C. version is because the rhythm section is just so funky!

  • awsome riff, awsome lesson, great player!
