all chicago yall get it right house started in chicago, it's not called dance, techno, electronica none of that shit. all the house clubs dj's fashion it all started in chicago not the east coast west coast or even the rest of the midwest all Chicago period. the east coast was all hip hop during the house era from 79 unitl 94, then it turned into ghetto house juke music and footworking and all of that started in the chi.

@JREID2013 Much respect to you and Chicago ( you guys were putting out great stuff) but you were not in New York City in the late 70's and early 80's at the Loft and the Garage where Frankie Knukles from the Chicago's WareHouse was being educated in House music. The controversial term "House music" was birthed from music that wasn't heard on the radio but was from the called "House" because you could only hear it played in House. on the premises of underground dance clubs in NYC.
