  • Are you an airline pilot?

  • Great Vid dude!!

  • Put music on this video PLEASE!

  • Man, you talk like you sleeping on the camera or near the camera:). Take some action in the motion and some more light:). Rim is good finished, but I think still need some polish.

  • I love getting wasted and sanding rims man

  • How to break your back is more like it.

  • I got some vintage mags they just looked dirty at first but have pits with corrosion what would I do to get rid of the corrosion I think its a little deep to just sand it out.

I might try and have them glass beaded or powder coated but I like the original look and don't want to spend too much.

  • Why not use buffing wheel and tripoli compound?

  • Great DIY!!! I did what you said and my SE's look like they just rolled of the assembly line! Props to you!

Next time I'm also toking chronic when I'm doing this!

  • what prescription drugs were u overdosing on when u made this vid

  • Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

  • cool vid and your well chilled man

  • @chevymanz7198 Explain? becouse i havent heard about any death caused by smoking weed... lol

  • Steven Wright's vid on how to polish wheels

  • Thanks for going to the effort of putting this tutorial together. I think using a finer grit sand paper into the 1000+ range would get you that mirror chrome finish, although it looks like lots of elbow grease. I wonder what the best way to get into those nooks and crannies is though? Drill and dremel bits?

  • im polishing the rims for my 95 camaro.

i built a sand blaster and it got rid of the clear coat and a blue undercoat, but it turned out that there is a layer of powder coat on the very bottom that is VERY difficult to get off (sand blaster would not work)

i used 80 grit to chew through the powder coat, and moved up to 220, then 400, and am doing 1500 2morrow.

Im done 2 rims but have 2 left. Any suggestions anyone????

  • I almost fell asleep with that voice...

  • i was thinkin of doin this on my stock 96 rims. it has circular lining. should i still use sandpapers?

  • @09204418448 not sure what your talking about circle lining

  • @ghostma13 if you look nearly at the 1996 vti honda civic sedan stock rims, there is some outlines. i cant describe but if you get what i mean can you halp me?

  • @09204418448 if there not steel or painted you should be ok to do this to them

  • Comment removed

  • clean them up with wheels polish every once in awile.

  • @ghostma13 do I need to apply a clearcoat after? I used aircraft stripper to get the clearcoat off, then sanded, then used rubbing compound and polish. But do I need to reapply a clearcoat?

  • @myuzz best if you dont use clear coat, just keep them clean dry and polished

  • @myuzz apparently aluminum oxidizes quickly without a clearcoat? Have you experienced this? because i really dont want to have to resand all my rims if they oxidize

  • if you clear coat them you may have the clear start flaking off and that dont look vary good i just keep them clean and polish them every couple of weeks and dont let water sit on them because thats what makes them dall out

  • if you clear coat them you may have the clear start flaking off and that dont look vary good i just keep them clean and polish them every couple of weeks and dont let water sit on them because thats what makes them doll out

  • haha its like you were falling asleep at the end.wow! great job and just the info i needed.how do i keep them from dulling after this process?

  • @spoondogcuz use aotosol or a polish which has anti tarnish protective agents as u buff

  • lol i get that all the time.

  • this guy sounds really stoned

  • @paulhunter123 haahaah I know A lol

  • @paulhunter123 just what i was thinking
