I just came back from Cuba where I ended up in the regular filthy cockroach hospital for four days that the locals use. I did have sheets but water,pillows and toilet paper have to be bought in by family.

When you are Canadian staying at a five star resort, the conditions at their hosptials is not something that you think about. I had the elite insurance package so I didn't have to eat the slop on the tray because someone brought me in food every day..

But why do you doubt what I say about out healt care system? Check out the stats - we are top 5 + we spend about half of total US spending on health care.

You should see the rest of the series. They are in my favorite videos. The reason I doubt it is because we humans are greedy and ambitious by nature (that's not a bad thing, we owe youtube to that, for instance) That's why "socialized systems" are incompatible with humans. I fear utopias as much as I fear death. However, there may be some good things in your system I'll check it out.
