I'm just curious. Is charles happy that the "girl at the ball" is cinderella? I'm kinda sad when he instantly fell in love at the "girl at the ball" (though IT IS cinderella! XD)

then I wondered what if it's not cinderella? he'd marry the girl and forget about "cinderella's special place in his heart"? but then no girl can match cinderella's beauty so if she's not there, no one would get the prince's attention, right?

@noems38 Well the way I see it is he was indeed smitten by her without knowing it was her but he felt he knew her and just wanted to know her more which is why before he even said they couldve became friends, nothing really about love he just wanted to know her and she ran off which left him wondering. It was his friends and tutors that chose to look for the girl and I think if they had brought someone else back hed try to be her friend but eventually realize it wasnt the same girl.

@noems38 you know i was thinking the same thing at first, but then again remember what he was thinking the whole time he was dancing with her, about how she was "so familar".... the first thing he had said to her outside of the castle was how she looked so much like "his friend". so really the whole time he was with "the girl at the ball" he was thinking of cinderella. the whole series he was in love with her. idk i think too much, too. he didn't want to dance with anybody until she walked in
