If you have the original rct1, you cant add music to roller coasters

put a rollercoaster in the lake? meh, i would put a rail and boat rides. rollercoaster would be on the north, which the hills are. i actually made an underground rollercoaster.

RCTycoon 3 killed these games. It was too graphics heavy. They could have used a better engine to make it less laggy :\

Plus Chris Sawyer either wasn't a part of it, or wasn't a major part of it anymore. Best computer game ever. They REALLY should remake it, what with Online capabilites nowadays. It would be friggen sweet.

i have some problems with rct1 i cant save data . it crashes when i save the game and i cant load my parks.

Since I was always routine back in the day, I always built the Wooden Roller Coaster "Mischief" in the middle of the lake, and I always put the stalls in the same spot (where you put the maze). Sounds stupid now, but it was still fun to make a bazaar there.

Here's some tips for the rollercoaster:

A good one should only have 1 of those things that help it climb the hills.

You should bank the ride more.

It's unsafe to go so quickly into the end of the ride. (One time, I tried doing the same thing as you, and it said 7 people died. XD)

oh man this is my favorite park of all time beat it with 1648 guests a park rating of 956 and $40,346 with no loan i had completely dveloped everything...built amazing rides and stuff... this is the best park in the whole game

Huh, does RCT1 works on Vista ? Please tell me how, because everyone is saying that is doesn't work on their computer... and I realy want it to work, because it's my favorite game but I only have Vista so I cannot play it anymore :S

It does work in Vista both 32 and 64 bit. You need the Loopy Landscapes and Corkscrew Follies expansion packs plus the Windows XP patch they released for it. This has worked for me. Oh and before anyone asks I've tried the patch without the expansion packs installed and it won't patch the game without them.

You have to watch out when building roller coasters like 'Fury Of The Sea' because the high speeds the trains go into the station at will make the risk of them having station brakes failure more often. I remember when I once played Diamond Heights, The Claustrophoia coaster crashed in about a minute

Lol that ride always has station failure even if u try to do everything you can to stop it

Well, yeah. But lets say, if there were brakes at 4mph it would not crash as fast as if you added the boosters and make it barrel into the station at 60mph

@rosabellis That happened to me almost every time I played it. After a while the first thing I did in that scenario was pause the game and go add brakes to both of them.

Leafy Lake is definately my all time favorite level of all versions of RCT. But, sadly, I can't play it anymore becuase my computer wont let me uninstall the whole game so all i have is the scenarios on my PC lol.

@bballchamp31392 i agree. i think it's also better than rct2. all the extra attractions in rct2 are cool, but you can't win or complete a scenario and get a new one. if you play rct1 you can get new scenarios to play with and also get a big park at the end ( i don't know how it's called)
