i like this video and this truck it goes to show u dont need a ''badass'' truck to hit the mud like a 2012 ford raptor with a costom lift sitting 5 feet off the ground ive seen a 2wd ford ranger go farther then a 4wd jacked up truck

I have a bone stock Dakota two wheel drive and I bring it through deeper mud than that and that engine doesn't sound like a v10 it sounds like the 3.9 v6

@rbdrainv Where did you find an 8" lift? I have a 96 v10 and have 2" now. want to go with 8 but can't find a lift kit anywhere of more than just 4.5.

@dixie04 TopGunCustomz makes all the components you need for an 8" lift but they sell everything seperately, no kit. That's where I bought my stuff... Most of it is fabbed by them an its all amazing quality! Skyjacker also makes a 7" kit for around $3000.

@mikelnohands get a 2500 with a 360 or a newer 2500 with a hemi. the diesel really won't help you much off road because it's bigger and heavier but the 3/4 ton axles will IMO

@carfreak59750 I have a 3500 dually with 10" lift, 42" tires and the Cummin, bone stock, that thing is a monster off-road, I have never been stuck, never had any problems bogging down, that what you get with a tire that almost 2.5 feet wide. just buy the right gear and it will help.

@adamslurch71 i meant the cummins would make it a more front heavy than the V8 and increase the tendency to nose nive in deep mud. but the monster rear wheel/tire combo could work for a tank lol

Nice I got a 1994 lifted dodge 2500 with the V10 i love it. It will pass everything but a gas station. What are some performance parts that you can get for a V10? I have been checking around everysince i bought the truck in 2005 and really havent been able to find anything.

In this video i have a dynomax dual exhaust with ultraflow mufflers and cat delete. I swapped out the ultraflows for two cherry bomb glasspacks though and I think it sounds way better now.

what you got for lift and tires? i have a 360 ram 1500 with a 8" suspensionn 3" body but im only runnin 33 14.5's for the winter. lookn for suttn this spring. to throw on my 20's

I have 8" in the front and 10" in the back so it should sit about as high as yours (2500 would've sat a little higher han the 1500 to start) and I'm running 37x12.5's right now with no rubbing and still have a little bit of clearance at full turn. I'm thinking of goin to a 38.5x15.5 soon. Is your 8" suspension custom or a kit?

ohh really. alright yea i was thinkn about 37's but my friend that has a cummins has though which has the 8 and 3 to. its a 5" kit with a 3" spacer and 5" block 2 add leafs in the back. do yuo have a rebuilt tranny? im wondering if i should do that first haha.

No I didn't rebulid my tranny but with the 2500 V10 mine will probably be a little heavier than yours

nah i dont, but you do have to run long arms otherwise the allignment would never line up. the 5"kit isnt designed to go any higher.
