Tuomas Holopainen from Nightwish (who's a Hans Zimmer fan) when he composed Fantasmic covered part 4:04 - 4:20 ,type "Nightwish Fantasmic" and check the first video at 5:08,when i saw this film for the first time i immediatly saw the similarities between the 2 songs and both are awesome.

@TherionSamael Yeah, it seems Laiho (or more generaly, Bodom) liked this movie's theme.

The bridge in Bodom after midnight is directly taken from there.

They also played the main theme at their Tokyo live just before the song Touch like angel of Death.
