Are you a mind-reader? I had the same thoughts about whether or not the "T" should be in GLBTQ and also, I know you made this awhile ago, but it was like you saw the FUTURE of my Pride this year! I made a video about it because I was shocked at how since my boyfriend came out as trans, Pride is so different and it isn't like "Christmas" anymore!

there are many ppl who are lesbian, gay, bi feel that transmen are just confused lesbians. Which pisses me off b/c I'm not a butch lesbian i'm a man who happens to be in a womans body. We are not disrespecting woman or deserting them by transitioning into male. Many lesbians feel that way n try tell us that we r not trans that we r just really butch "woman". Trans community to many ppl in the LBG community feel we dnt belong. So it's huge battle to get ppl to understand.

Good point. I was thinking along the same lines. Didn't think "gender expression" but I had a similar point of view. Glad someone disagreed with the T not being part of LGBTQ. Thanx

yeah i find that even within the trans community ppl feel like we shouldnt be part of the acronym... idk we fight so hard for acceptance but dont want it other ways

I went to the hrc gala in nc in feb (or march) and i can remember feeling out of place since it was mostly the glb community there. I wasnt on T yet and a girl whos an ally said to me "oh your wear a suite that cool yall (referring me and my lesbian friend) are wearing a suite." I told her I was trans and she got quiet and apologized but it just shows me that many people in the glbqa community dont know much about the T
