Somebody correct if wrong, but did the American control tower guys' chatter say "Strike one for the partridge" at 0.40 (i.e. associating "partridge in a pear tree")
And when the IL-76 tanker (Or Command post aircraft?) took off, did US tower code it as "US 1 is out"?
@shadowhunter388 said: "...Russia gave them jets but yet they still cannot give homes..."
Dumb g..k, Did you take a walk around your village of starving hobbits, before you groveled like the worms (you eat) before your government who spent billions of $ to buy nukes?
You flee to democratic world across oceans holding on every scrap-wood you can find, pollute these nations so your own govt can build weapons, and come here to talk against True Democracies who defend themselves against your ilk?
moscow maynot be my favorite city but hey flying in a fighter jet is a once in a life time oppritunity BUT flying in a fighter jeton the edge of space thats way better.
you know before I wanted India to move closer to the US and share technology, but lately I've seen how obnoxious Americans are to Indians, supporting our enemies (porkistan) while meddling in our affairs.
Now I think it'd be better if Russia and India united and worked really hard to exceed US technology.
Then they'll be begging to have us share tech with them and we'll look down like Dr Mahattan and say "No". hehe
China will be the richest country by 2035, followed by India in 2075. (mind you, the per capita income will remain lower than the US). But do you think the Russians are true friends, I would think again. They actually have been helping China with better technology.
Our best friend in my opinion is ISRAEL. Unfortunately, many of our muslim citizens of India hate Israel. This Partnership will work with India's money and Israel's technology.
India is good at technology, no doubt, but were talking Military grade technology here, not contemporary.
I feel somehow that there is a deep unity of purpose in the partnership with Israel.
The risk: India has always tried to be friendly to all, including people like Zhou of China who gave us an unpleasant surprise in 1962. We tried to be friendly with both the US and the Soviet. The US saw us as an old Soviet ally, the Soviets turned a blind eye to the chinese incursions into India.
bino-I agree 100%. India was the richest place on earth for thousands of years till we got invaded and destroyed by the muslims and british. However I believe we're an ingenious and industrious people and we can come back. We have a strong affinity with Israel because they're a lot like us-brilliant good people.
It's a mistake for India to be friends with everyone. We need to align ourselves with other great democracies like US/EU and support their causes. Having allies and enemies is important
To clarify, its important to get along with all nations but we must remember there are still evil ideologies like Islam and Communism in the world that would conquer us if they could.
So we should build stronger ties with democracies like ours-become a NATO member and join them in their wars against tyrannical fascists states and they will hopefully assist us as well in our wars, like with Porkistan. It'd be great if all humans could share the world but it won't happen until evil is eliminated.
bino-fair point, I think I was ticked off by a few Yanks elsewhere...but the smart thing to do is to team up with the US since they're a true superpower...they need India's help because the Islamic contagion is mostly concentrated in Asia and mideast.
India being the world's biggest democracy, America would be wise to invest heavily in not just our economy but military. Both countries have common enemies like China, Pakistan, Iran, NK, etc. Israel will continue to be an excellent ally also.
dude Richard Excellent work man....cool to see MKI's in the US....my friend's dad was a pilot in the Lightning squadron(Su-3o MKI's) in India....sweet aircraft

If IAF chooses F 18 or F 16 in the MMRCA contract, then the next red flag might see a Russo-american combo from IAF...

"why these other fighter launch very late after the 1st fighter lunched"
Su-30MKI engines are very sensitive to exhaust fog and require at least 40-60 sec of time between launches to clear the runway.

The best thing for us is to develop indigenous technology that can beat the rest of the world.
Well, we invented algebra, computer algorithms, the decimal number system, calculus. Our Doctors are the best in the world.
Most importantly, we have a young nation!! The average Age of India is going down. This plays a very important role.
