  • The music... can I please have the name of the song and the artist. It's very peaceful and would ne great for meditation.

  • where i can find this music? thx

  • i had this cheapo wen i was like 14 an its a rat tale tang toataly blunt an it cost 30 pounds its probably the worst example of a sword there is lol not even worth a glance why does this guy enjoy collecting completely shit swords

  • super jaime

  • Isn't this like, a dollar store sword?

  • Hahahaha. CRAP.

  • Fucking hell, this guy is the WORST sword buyer I've ever seen! He's a complete idiot, tell him anything's traditional and he'll believe you! With all the money he's blown on wallhangers you wouldn't want to hang on your fucking wall he could have bought a paper crane daisho or multiple tameshigiri cutters which are much more impressive! Not this piece of shit with plasticy looking fittings, 440, and WTF is that replacing the ito?

    He's such a fuckwit, I can't tell if he's serious or not.

  • it looks like Buddha ate a bunch of mexican food, took a squat, and out came this red piece of shit

  • that made my day thanks

  • @orchidrain015 he must've had huge cuts on his asshole

  • omg another cheap reproduction

do they actualy think they can hide this fact ???

  • don tbuy this word i brought a set of 3 and they all fell apart there cheap imitations

  • The standard is not a good fit.

  • Relax people

every time all come to say stainless steel is not good for a sword.

That's right but nobody says this is a combat ready sword, this is a decorative sword for who want just collect and not use for practical.

  • tamahogane was the steel used by katana makers then, NOT STAINLESS STEEL, western metalurgists calls it martensite. dumb american forgers!!!

  • Actually the whole sword was not martensite, only the blades edge when differential tempering was completed. Western sword, now they were often all martensite. Japanese swords were a mixture of pearlite, austentite, cementite, and martensite.

  • good for you, you figured out how to use wikipedia, great job kid.

  • stainless steel is NOT something traditional katanas would be made from, dumb forgerers!

  • lol

  • This sword has is something I would put on my wall for decoration, and leave it there forever. The sword is 420 stainless steel and it has a Rat Tail Tang. I have another sword similar to this one and I dissassembled it find nuts, and bolts, and the thin piece hanging to the blade. Very nice gold plated features, nice sageo, but again... don't buy this for iaido or cutting( dont try to sharpen it either) Just hang it on the wall, and it its beauty shine.

  • * let its beauty shine *

  • man people acually think this sword is real? HAHA you will waste your money...but its up to you...but don't brag on how you got a Nihontou cause thats far from one...

  • yes, and the real ones cost thousands of dollars to obtain which is out of most people's budget. however i agree that this sword looks cheap and is a waste of money.

  • seiki brian is right!!!!

respect the katanas! and the ones who weilded them

  • that excuse for a katana is about 12 bucks wholesale and retails for about 25 or 30 bucks at any head shop or gas station. makes for a good paper weight.

  • cheap, shity, katana , waste your money on a functional piece instead.

  • beutiful...but could i get a price please and if possible the location of where you got it?

  • very nice! is this sword made out of quality tamahagane? and also, how much was it?

  • I hope you're being sarcastic?

  • no, im not.

  • Please, please! Katana on katana-kaki should be displayed edge up.

ura or omote (hilt left or right) is a matter of choice depending on mindset, but edge down is always a no-no for katana. It's not a tachi (which would usually be better displayed, kissaki up, on a tachi-kake anyway).

  • "This is a classic katana with stainless steel blade," If you think a traditional Katana is made from SS then you are soarly mistaken. Do some research.

  • lol indeed

  • the music changed!
