Unfortunately the Melbourne punk scene is now outnumbered by people who think that punk rock means just to go out to a venue to drink and to show off your latest tattoos and piercings. Or to go to nightclubs such as DV8 and dance to DJs music. But when it come to direct action, these punk posers side with our enemies and label us "hippies" or "scum" & don`t want to get involved. They`d rather spend time dying their hair instead.
Oh come on..give the guy a break..hes almost 60. WHO CARES about his weight. Hes not the skinny, poor kid from Boulder colorado forever. Jello has a heart and a great sense of humor...both sorely needed in this day and age. Thanks for all that you do Jello..I saw you on the "No more cocoons" spoken word tour at UMASS back in the late 80's. "Bedtime for Democracy" was my favorite DK album.
Serious winter is about to hit the upper regions of the states. This shits going to end in a couple weeks here. Hand warmers and battery powered space heaters aren't going to cut it in several feet of snow. You aussies have the weather in your favor, take advantage of it.
