Besides, these people were still given a lot less than tribes from seasons before All-Stars. In Borneo, Australia, Africa, etc. they received crates of food and supplies. Plus, they obviously didn't show us the entire canoe ride. For all we know, It could have lasted 12 hours...

I LOVE this season, Courtney is a major bitch, I love her. Todd is sooooooo adorable and smart! James is funny and hot! Amanda, ehhhh. But over all, it's a fun season to watch.
They can't smuggle flint because our dear friend Richard Hatch managed to get a small thing of matches into All-Stars, so all contestants are now strip searched.
i think generally speaking, the seasons with fewer contestants like this one (16 instead of 20) are usually better, the audience gets to know each player better.

Like James, his only strategy was to allign himself in a strong group, not to make the decisions, and he was loved so much because he was like an innocent kid personality-wise (at first at least) who was fun to watch in and out of challenges because of his physical capabilities. James is the same: he's strong in challenges and camp life, except that he's got a cute personality (and an adorable smile for such a huge guy).
@crapolaist And as for yelling at his tribe, they threw a challenge (albeit for a good reason) but he wasn't aware of it at the time and he thought they were just being dumbasses (which they sort of were, for giggling so much like that). In the reunion show, James says that people that come up to him are generally kids, and sometimes older men, and women. Perhaps you don't fit into any of those catagories so you may not get it. Also, I hardly think little kids like him simply because he's black.

I know, I think it's because they know they're going to be on t.v. so they want to look good. But, no bra, come on, are you looking for attention or what?? One side note. If the dumbass from NY (courtney)goes far in the game, she'll be down to like 7 pounds. i thinkl she's at about 60 now. Just think, they say the camera ADDS 10 pounds. I wonder if the cameras will follow her when she goes off to force vomit her spoon full of rice.

I KNOW like every season they tell them you're going with the clothes on your backs and ever season they're suprised and unprepared. and seriously why would they not layer. if i was going i would wear mesh shorts under long pants and a tank top under short sleeved shirt under jacket. and as for one luxury idem either a tarp or some friggin flint.
