32 foot diaphones? That must creat some real bass, not quite as deep as the dulzine diaphone 64 in boardwalk hall but that must really rattle the teeth to hear and feel.
This is a recording from a recent performance on the former Brisbane regent theatre Wurlitzer, now installed in the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art. I attended this performance and the music was wonderful. I understand it was composed entirely for the occasion by this young organist. Thank goodness this iconic piece of Brisbane is back with us, so many of us remember it fondly.
