  • FIFA 12

  • I just added support for the gamepad to iDamaged for iPhone/iPad, pretty sweet pad, hope other devs are going to add support for it, adding the code is extremely simple.

  • FUCK YES, I WANT THIS!

  • Is it compatible with modern combat 3?

  • I really think this should be the future of gaming, no console just stream everything online! I just wish all the games would work for it!

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!

  • ever heard of blue tooth?

  • Toshiba Thrive with with full sized USB and HDMI ports FTW!!!

  • Is it compatible with FIFA 12? If it is. I'm sold.

  • whats the song playing in the background?

  • If this works for Modern Combat.... Instabuy

  • @Thei3lackDawn Agreed :)

  • GREAT PRODUCT.....GREAT JOB..

I M GONNA BUY IT IF I HAVE BUCKS!!!

  • Make an Android one please!

  • This is good but i don't think i use it or buy it

  • This + Apple = FAIL.

This + Android = EPIC WIN!

  • @hoan999999

    this + smartphone = fail

  • DONDE LO COMPRO

  • Now what would be nice is instead of buying the full controller - how about a bluetooth like input to the ipad that'll work with existing controllers… now THAT I can see a greater market for.

  • 50 dollars to play 2 supported games

    Pfffhahahahahha

  • That's very cool. Now if only they will design games to be played with a proper controller instead of simplifying all the games so they can be used with the touch controls. I would then say that they could easily compete in the handheld market.

  • Lmao, 50 bucks and only 2 compatible games? This is a joke until MANY more games are compatible

  • Looks like a cool idea, But will Apple owners really buy it? Theyr sort of dicks. If they wanted to play games they wouldnt be Apple product owners. Also that has lotsss of latency. The Dolphin emulator with a Xbox controller is faster ~_-

Just wait untill someone hacks it and makes every other controller work with iThings.

  • The funniest part is playing on an iphone. U must be retarded to buy it especially for an iphone

  • For dumb, lazy fucks complaining about no sound with the controller plugged in. You could've just easily went to the 60beat website and found out that the gamepad comes with an audio splitter.

  • MORE GAMES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • someone know about a version for andriod??

  • @kloxtronyk android sucks

  • That shit costs 50$ shipping excluded.....what a joke.

  • SWEET!

  • lol no sound? FAIL

  • The HUGE LAG shown on the iPod game (as the last one) made the whole controller out of my interest.

  • yeah but i want it to be able to run in more than just 2 games for ios

  • i think it uses the microphone to translate the button press

  • I have an Xperia Play Android phone, which has the built in controller, and I have to say that playing games on it are better than playing the games using the touch screen.

  • Serious Gaming should be left to gaming consoles. Otherwise, Y are you hooking up an XBOX/PS controller to your iPAD? REDUNDANT DESIGN.

  • @CaneSugarCane Did you just say serious gaming should be left to consoles? What a joke, gaming on phones and tablets is comparable to consoles in almost every way. In fact, there are already some phones out that are equally powerful to the consoles (LOL). Serious gaming belongs on the PC.

  • @RH00D2 You really are going to play COD on your 2.7" phone screen? Are you nuts? Just compare the processor speed of a tablet to an XBox/PS/your PC. Unless you got some weak console nobody's heard about. You yourself said it, Serious gaming belongs (not on a phone or tablet but) on the PC. PROBLEM?

  • @CaneSugarCane Processor speed means nothing when comparing different architectures. Speed is only relevant if it's the same family of CPU. There are 2.6GHz CPUs that can beat 3.8GHz CPUs. Consoles are comparable to phones because they are both proprietary devices, that are "one size fits all", they are locked down and offer next to no customization and are now coming close to being equal in processing power. Btw, most smartphones are now over 4".

  • can i do play call of duty ? xD

  • Just saw the official page. Only support 2 games that nobody play. BOOOOOO

  • GG mec !

  • the idea is nice but response time will be slow comparing to xbox or playstation controllers. because jacks have generally 2 inputs/outputs (for L/R stereo). so i think the signal will be sequential/semi-parallel (you cant press X, R1, and Left Arrow same time)... just what i think

  • Good idea, but there's quite a lot of latency :/

  • Could this device possibly be active with MC3?

  • there is the chance to work on Android 60beat gamepad in the future?

  • @sajan148 /watch?v=iw3YAFY5Pqc is better then this

  • @madmax2069 thanks :)

  • @sajan148 No one likes Android, fool.

  • @nusret01 only you do not like

  • @nusret01 That just shows how much you really know, fool

  • apple is trying to make a console in the name of the phone

  • Does this still count in the failed techs of 2011?

  • China will make one :))

  • relax annoying people, its just an idea, u know, laptops weren't made in one night. have you ever seen the first computer? it was as big as your lazzy butts. thats too big that a room cant handle

  • Sweet or you could buy a different pad with Bluetooth and it works with ANY PS3 CONTROLLER. This is just more bullshit that people make to capitalize on apple's lack of support for features that should be free

  • @zeronamagem SHOULD and COULD are nice, we make due. ;)

  • @zeronamagem this is one of the dumbest comments i ever read lol...first off apple have nothing to do with this and second name one device that has built in controller support...thats not a game console ...your one of the worst trolls ive ever seen lol

  • Will it be available in Android?

  • @namnam02gmail /watch?v=iw3YAFY5Pqc is much better. it at least uses bluetooth which will leave your sound output for sound.

  • Anyone need this for android? PhoneJoy is a ps3 style Bluetooth for $34.99

  • Omg, put a little speaker in the controller!!

  • In case anyone is wondering, the GamePad comes with a splitter to allow for both headphones and controller.

This has potential; it saves on the battery and connection issues with BlueTooth devices and by avoiding the dock connector it allows for power to be connected while playing. The only issue I see is developer support. No games, no support. It needs a big-ticket franchise to name it and support it (I'm talking Rockstar or EA). FIFA maybe?

  • why not using Bluetooth??

  • WILLLLLLLLLLLLLSSOOOOOOOOON!

  • cool guys go with a gamepad and an iPhone to work

  • only works with two crappy games.....

  • WHY U NO USE 30 PIN?

  • Comment removed

  • wew ajib

  • Does that controller has headphone output jack? If not, how can we hear game sound??

  • @andazrai guess they kinda missed that one eh? great product though, apart from that, maybe a dual adapter, one for audio and the other for the controller :)

  • @andazrai you can use a headphone splitter. I believe that it is also included from what I've gathered so far.

  • @andazrai through the speakers

  • @andazrai Easy, use splitters

  • 1:41 lol guy doesn't know how to use a controller.

  • Why did you choose to use the typical console controller design? There's nothing ergonomic about a dual shock controller...

  • Sweet!

  • "virtually no latency" my ass, it looked super delayed.

  • why just ios? I have that port on my android devices.

  • needs gangstar moderncombat cod or fifa for me to buy.

  • This is good until you want to use your headphones with the game. This is really stupid

  • @EXTREME111111111 not really. When you buy the controller you'll get the audio splitter

  • This plus onlive, make it happen please.

  • get me a wireless pad and maybe I will buy this.

  • wow wait ....... a joy pad for your touch screen device :/ the whole idea of having these devices touch screen is to use your damn fingers why are people so lazy these days, if you want to use joy pads then play games on your pc or some other console but come on really....... a joy pad for your IOS5 device ? thats just mentally retarded.

  • @SupaaStahhMarioo In some games, you really need a gamepad for example platform games or if you are using an emulator and you are playing some snes games the pad should help you a lot.

  • I want this and play fifa 12!!!! :D

  • ANDROID..?!

  • This is amazing! I cant believe no one else made one first. You should really let a bunch of developers use it. This could change the way IOS games are played. ( And a great change from the virtual screen buttons )

  • just buy a PS3

  • Now this is a great thing for any IOS gamer. Let's hope all devs help 60beats .

  • kool but not working with all games on the appstore

  • Cool toy

  • I need this in my life.

  • Hey nice idea but they are some downsides to it. May be you can solve that by adding a speaker to your control

    Cheers

  • I think the price is very reasonable. "Package contents include: GamePad, Audio Splitter and 4 foot cable from GamePad to headphone jack." Perfect!! I will buy!

  • For 50 dollars it would be a wise idea to include a bluetooth headphone jack necklace for audio. These aren't that expensive and you could make one that fits the controller. Utilizing bluetooth 4.0 found in the iPhone 4s, you could have ultra-long battery life with low latency. Vote this comment up if you think this is a good idea.

  • nice idea, but if this kills the sound by using a headphone jack, then I'm not interested.

  • @eVoluci0n You can use a headphone splitter. Matter of fact, "Package contents include: GamePad, Audio Splitter and 4 foot cable from GamePad to headphone jack".

  • @eVoluci0n It comes with an audio splitter dumbass

  • Dont trust this will be available for fifa 12, gta, modern combat and stuff like these

  • and how are we supposed to listen to the game???...plus killed it with the price. i am not paying 50 for that!!!!

  • @3fras it comes with an audio splitter.

  • How's the lag response time?

  • Please don`t kill it with the price PLZ PLZ PLZ !

  • @MrPrachman

Yeah, they should use fire instead.

  • кульно

  • This is awesome

  • I think this could be a really good product for kids.

  • On the 60beat website it shows only 2 supported games and says there will be a complete list of games in some time feb 2012

  • Bluetooth controls don't fully support analog controls from what I've seen. And using the connector isn't any better. If this works then why not? Im supporting them, trying to get the word out so more devs can add in support.

  • I'm not feeling the design, but like the idea.

  • The problem is no games are written to use the headphone jack as the joystick input. I don't think the devs will re-write the apps for this. Why not offer a bluetooth version?

  • I'm ordering mine right away!!!!

  • This looks pretty epic.

  • Y U NO BLUETOOTH?

  • good! and about the hardcore games like Infinity Blade and fifa 12?

  • Impressive that is working off the jack (i mean, as a choice)... but then if i want to play with headphones a splitter will do?

  • Maravilloso!!!!

  • Good job!

  • Did you try the N64 emulator?

  • Awesome best ios add on so far

  • i'll go for onlive ;)

  • how about other existing games like GTA3 or FIFA 12, is it possible to use the gamepad?

  • Amazing!
