The intersting thing to note about the Rebellion is that it actually wasn't officially established until like 1-2 years prior to "A New Hope". We learned that in "The Force Unleashed". There WERE rebels before TFU, but it wasn't a huge organized alliance of rebels. The Rebellion was there before TFU, but it was mainly a bunch of resistance fighter groups, and not really an alliance. The Rebel Alliance wasn't OFFICIALLY established until Force Unleashed.

And Roan Fel only restored the Empire due to Darth Krayt's support. Shortly after retaking Coruscant, he was deposed by him in a coup and the Empire became a Sith organization again, with Fel and his loyalists joining the Alliance. After Krayt's death the Empire dissolved

I'm mostly into MW types of things, but again, I've shown a greater interest since seeing that concert. I guess when I wrote it, I had just finished listening to the whole song, and it got me in that particular mindframe.
