hold in the scroll up/down thing on your mouse while the cursor is on the scenario window. If you need it to go faster, press the SHIFT button while holding in the scroll button. Hope i helped.

when i open sapien it dosn't even show the map files or any file for that matter it only shows the folders is it somthing to do with them not being noticed by sapien or somthing its as if all the folders are empty even tho i know there not can you please tell me wats wrong

You need to select a .scenario file somewhere in tags/levels or tags/levels/test.

i extracted with hek + and did tha and now it starts to open and freezes for ages then closes with no message or nothing i have no idea wats wrong plz help im sick of just modding normal halo and i whant to mod halo ce so bad

OK, maybe this will help you:

Sapien can only edit multiplayer maps. To edit a single player map, convert it in Guerilla to multiplayer, then when you're done, convert it back.

Sapien has a file size limit of about 450 kb.

Well, what I did was I got a new computer before I could even figure out the problem... Then I just downloaded it onto the new computer and it worked fine... Not saying you have to get a new computer or anything, but I would just uninstall it and then redownload

i reinstalled it kinda worked on my old pc i dint have all the widows tool wouldent open ect but i could move my camra around on tutorial i build a new gaming rig all new relise parts best pats from ati amd asusect check out my vid this is some seirous fucking bull shit

I'm a little late on the but the problem was to go to view - then uncheck properties because that was blocking the windows (The gray-ness in the background is properties window)

check the debug log in the halo ce root directory and check which dependencies are missing because it won't open unless all the tags are present

open sapien don't open the scenario yet

go to task manager (ctrl + alt + del)

go to processes and find sapien

right click on it and set affinity

then uncheck CPU 1, click OK and finally open ure scenario

If I did the map would be corrupt for you, because as far as I know each game has its own code for everymap so that doesn't happen.

I had the same problem for a while, so I uninstalled it then reinstalled it. Try that, it might work.

@rocpadge To tell the truth, I have no idea, I only recently figured out the basics of Sapien because I had computer troubles for a while and it wasnt working, so I really dont know what that command should even do. Sorry I can't help, if you have any other questions I'll be happy to try to help!

Sapien is included with the HEK program. I just can't figure out how toopen the maps in it. Also...have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?
