I saw Reba live last year in Vegas, I had no idea how good she was until I saw her live. What a show !! I have seen 50 different shows in Vegas, and hers is in the top 5. Don't miss her if you have the chance to see her !
The day Reba McEntire lip sings is the day I know the world is going to end. She's the Tina Turner of country music, the shows are amazing and you can look at tons of videos and even though she sounds the same live it's the real deal. I believe Reba, Celine Dion, Cher, Tina Turner, and Shania Twain are the woman who deserve respect in the music business they made a career out of nothing. And do you see them whining or complaining about their hard work? Hell Nah!
@TinaDion94 With you on Tina and Reba as they crawled over broken glass to create their careers, the others not so much although Cher comes close. It's amazing what a partner with music industry pull can do, talented ladies who worked hard but not in the same league as Tina and Reba when it comes to the pure guts they displayed early in their careers. IMHO
@dugite100 Reba and Tina both earn the highest respect for me also, but if you look at it all of them came from poverty. That's the only reason I included them all, but I think Shania does earn a little more respect from me because of all she's recently went through.
@HarleyBumgarner But... But...Everyone knows nobody sounds as good when they sing live. What these "lip singer" accusers fail to realize is that Reba (and many other still active artists) made their name before all the studio trickery was available and autotune for live concerts didn't exist. Todays artists are a joke, some are decent singers but many are total garbage without technical help hence the crys of "lip singing" when a real singer does her job.
@icydarcystormy10 If you've ever been to a Reba concert, you know that she does not lip sing. That is an insult. You can tell her voice warms up during the concert and if there are her mic messes up, there is no vocals that continue to play. Reba is the real deal, go to a concert and you'll see. The only thing she lip sings on is videos, but everyone does that, I believe that's common knowledge. I assure you that is her voice live.
@icydarcystormy10 what the hell is wrong with you?? i met her and she sang back stage for us because someone said she lip sing so i xcan tell you for a fact she does not lip sing
My step-uncle used to be Reba's touring Saxophone and Guitar player in the early to mid 1990's. We used to get tickets and backstage passes every time Reba came to Huntsville, Alabama. Here stage show was AMAZING, and she was such a classy and kind woman as I was lucky enough to meet her a few times.
The was Reba's 1994 tour, not 1995. However, 1995 tour she ended it with Linda Davis with Does He Love You, and they flew over the crowd at the end as well.
Funny story of this performance was that Narvel, her husband and manager, told Reba that he wanted her to do this performance from up over the audience. She said "NO WAY". Narvel said "Well, ok. If you insist. But...Garth Brooks would do it" So, with that, Reba became determined to do it and this performance was filmed.
no i remember hearin' her tell this story, but the idea was 4 her 2 b lowered from the center of the huston astro-dome, it wasn't this performance. That was a great story though! LOL Luv how Narvel got her 2 do that! haha
This is soo cool! I could watch this for days! :)
Reba was so scared of heights, but Narvel convinced her to do it, it was either Reba or Garth Brooks that would this this trick. So glad that reba did it!
this is one of the coolest videos ever! Reba is incredible! I wish I could have gone to one of here shows in the 90's! Incredible! thanks for posting:)

@dugite100 Actually, Shania Twain worked like a dog for everything she got. She grew up in poverty in rural Canada.

I'm glad Reba did that for this concert. It shows you that she is not scared to do fun things, even if it is flying over the audience. : )
