Governor Quinn does not deserve the privilege to represent the hard working taxpayers of Illinois. He lacks the courage and integrity to make significant change in Illinois instead prefers to perpetuate the same level of corruption as his predecessor Rod Blagojevich and has proven in his most recent publicized government decisions; he is only interested in lining the pockets of his cronies without any accountability to the Illinois Taxpayers.
No I will not bow down to those who are more corrupted in a day than I could ever be in a life time, and I will honor the law and my rights to freedom of speech granted not only to me but all Americans and respect all those who sincerely honor the law and have paid the ultimate price to secure our rights to be heard. It is time for change in Illinois, and Quinn is no exception
Why would Dan Hynes want to be running mates with Quinn? That would be foolish! Dan Hynes is about change not perpetuating corruption. Dan Hynes is interested in honest government one that preserves the rights of the Taxpayer, not exploit the system to serve his own interest like Quinn! What does Quinn think Dan Hynes is foolish? That Dan Hynes would allow Quinn to ride his coat tail into another term?
Im very fed up with the democratic party they have denied my petition for clemency but yet theyre doing crime left and right....raising taxes @ least i can say ive been a law abiding citizen....
Youtube: Patriot Radio News Hour and find the episode "Things to Come". At the beginning of part 2 they play Pat Quinn on CNBC talking about the 9 billion dollar budget shortfall of the state. Eventually IL may start issuing IOUs like California. I think that state is in a lot of trouble sadly.
Sounded all the right notes, and while one may not see eye to eye with his politics, I don't think there's any room for doubt that he's a committed public servant and, on a personal level, a good guy. Well done.
Pat quinn all you need is love

This guy is a terrible governor. All he can think of doing is wanting to raise taxes. Good thinking in a recession idiot. Bring back Rod.

He'd better enjoy his short term, because Illinois is fed up with the democratic party.

I think the burning question the people of Illinois have to ask themselves is why the hell does Pat Quinn look like Mr. Peanut

He will be a moderate fair and reasonable governor for the state. Which is good. It was the progressives that gave us Blago

lol, that went out the window with all his new taxes. can we impeach him now to?

Were they really "his" new taxes, or the Illinois General Assembly's? I'm pretty certain they had it all on the table BEFORE Quinn took office.

A very classy speech from Pat, I thought.
