Come to think about it Nickelodean has had it's day, none of those shows are really on any more and the next generation don't know the charecters as much. I feel old saying that and I'm 19, I grew up with Rugrats, Hey arnold, fairly odd parents etc :/

i was just there last monday and they had started to take down the nicktoons jimmy was still there on the side i got to ride it for the last time we went back three days after and the building was plain the ride was gone for good how sad

unfortunatly, the ride will be replaced by despicable me 3D on august the 18th, fourteen days from now, it will be missed, i miss it, and ive only rode it once. Its because universal accidently lost rights for any nickelodeon media, so they werent actually planning on replacing it, but now they have to :(

Currently, Universal Studios is only running the ride on extreme peak days (when USF nears capacity) until the closing in a couple weeks. Unfortunately, they don't post it on their Twitter or Facebook pages about when Nicktoon Blast will be operating. But still, there's always a chance it could be open.

These are awesome! In the preshow room, what's with that small rectangle that appears in the beginning? I like how you overlapped the recording of the spiel before the ride with the source footage of the ride.

The rectangle shape at the beginning of the pre-show video is actually an error with the connection to the laserdisc which Universal has been having with the video since 2008. The message in the rectangle reads "No Signal", and reverts to the video after about two seconds. I find it pretty annoying that they haven't gotten this problem fixed. I doubt they will fix it before the attraction's closure on August 18 :(
