I just "unfriended" a former teacher who is now drawing her pension, probably taking her SS and medicare, and is getting welfare in the form of farm subsidies. Of course she's a Democrat and why would she want it any other way when she can stay on the go and live the life of Riley? The teacher's union owns the Democrat Party and has more delegates at the national convention than any other group. Ron Paul wants to end the Dept. of Ed. and put the rights of education in the hands of the locals.
We need a MASSIVE AWAKENING!!!!! Tell everybody you know and Break the mainstream medias control over the people and STOP THIS HOSTILE TAKE OVER OF OUR COUNTRY !!!! RON PAUL 2012 For the Worlds SAKE !!
RON PAUL, WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER! TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE HOW EXACTLY RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? OK LETS SAY ALL TROOPS CAME BACK AND THEN WHAT? THEY ARE GOING TO SELL IPHONES AND BLACKBERRIES? DUDE BE A MEN, HOW RU GOING TO CREATE JOBS? POPULATION OF CHINA IS 1.4 B CHINESE WORK LIKE ROBOTS, BE HONEST TELL AMERICAN PEOPLE TO BUY UR BOOK U NEED CASH , U LOVE POWER, U LOVE CASH, U WILL NEVER CREATE JOBS, U HAVE NO ANSWER!
Fuck that Corporate shill also known as Ronnie the Senile Idiot. That moron claims that Government can't run anything yet he himself has Government run health care provided to him through congress! So while you the average joe has no Coverage whatsoever, Ronnie the Senile idiot doesn't have that worry because the Government run Health care provided to him by Congress will save him! LMFAO! What a Senile old Fuck!
@deeppurple28 he doesn't except the government healthcare plan, he doesn't except medicare or medicaid payments from patients programs, he even still treats them, he just doens't except the payments to his salary. You need to do more research. take a microeconomics course
@Lunartechno Consider this, Ron Paul claims Government can't run anything. If what he says is true, why hasn't that Corporate Shill denounced the Health care provided to him through Congress? I just simply think that Ron Paul is Dead WRONG When he claims that Government can't run anything! He is WRONG!
@deeppurple28 The government can do it but it doesn't last because it always grows and the money runs out. What we are seeing today is the FAILURE of the government run programs, because it is allll 100% bankrupt. But also I guess you did not know that Paul does not participate in the congressional pension fund scheme, and just as with the pension scheme he has also voluntarily opted out of the congressional health care benefits. So you have to get your facts straight before yelling profanations
@Lunartechno No Profanity here, just the truth! I mean every time Ron Paul talks about how bad government is, it reminds me of a little quote from a Congressman, A congressman that Corporate America couldn't afford to have! "Don't Hate Government because you are BAD at it"- Alan Grayson! There so many things that are true about that statement! First of all, on who's pay roll is Ron Paul on? That's right , he is on Government pay roll! Who does he get his health care from? The Government!
@Lunartechno Why can't we receive a model similar to the health care that everyone in Congress and The Military gets! Apparently The Government is inadequate when providing health care to citizens, but it isn't when providing it too Politicians and the Military! Hmm, I wonder why??
@deeppurple28 because it doesn't work, you can't give it to everyone. The only way it works is if the many serve the few. We just need a free market where real people do things without regulations where risk and the rule of law are the weighs and measures of success... The government is no match for the entrepreneur/consumer relationship. Healthcare would be cheaper and more responsible if the government wouldn't protect giant corporations from what the mom and pops get punished for doing.
@Lunartechno You can't give it to anyone? Let me tell you something, When this country was established, a Central Government was also established! Do you paulbots have any idea why the founding Fathers believed that a Strong Central Government was necessary? That's your homework for tonight! Ron Paul loves undermining the government, but he never tells his retarded supporters that the Founding Fathers saw the need for a Strong Centralized Government!!
@deeppurple28 a strong central government is the exact opposite of what we have today. 14 trillion dollars of debt? sounds pretty weak to me. Government run education with one of the dumbest populations (the founding fathers never dreamed of the horror of today)? sounds pretty weak to me. Social security medicare and medicaid all bankrupt? sounds pretty weak to me... oh wait! those programs were never even supposed to exist thats why the founders didn't put them in the constitution. Weak.
@deeppurple28 The majority of our founders were highly opposed to a strong central government. There was a constantly clash between those who wanted a strong central government with Washington as king and those who wanted government to be as minimal and local as possible. The constitution was set up to limit the central government. Madison (the father of the Constitution), Jefferson, Franklin, and most others were highly opposed to any strong central government.
then take credit for giving a fraction of those stolen proceeds back.
It is the distorted view of property that leads most astray... anytime anyone thinks the govt does a good job at something, ask them how much freedom their neighbors ought to enjoy when making decisions about their own property, including their own body. Few will allow that any individual's decision could possibly improve on their favorite democracy.
Bullshit. It's hardly anti-American. The founding fathers were for less taxes and less government, so Paul is actually very American on this issue. You're not entitled to their money, asshole.
The reason USA doesn't have any jobs is becuase unlike the social democracies in country like Germany, we made it profitable for companies to outsource.
Bush actually gave tax cuts to companies that outsourced.
This is another disastrous pinnacle of libertarians failed ideology. Endless tax cuts.
If you want to live in a libertarian society then go live in Antarctica. No taxes or regulation. You can shit in a hole and cook over an open fire.
@MrFoxispropaganda You are a Socialist idiot, Why should or how could the Government take care of People from Cradle to Grave without Stealing your hard earned Wealth. Some People would serve us better Dead than Alive Boy Howdy what an Idiot!
Ron Paul appeals to the racists and other ignorant retards who think all the problems of our country stem from lazy minorities and a imaginary entitlement culture.
Americans WORK MORE THEN ANY OTHER DEVELOPED NATION. Yet we receive less in benefits then any other developed nation and the income inequality in the usa is higher then any other developed nation. We also have the highest rate of child poverty, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to think that may have been because of spending cuts...
What a crock. Ron Paul is one of the few rationale people in Government.
When Ron Paul won his first race his opponent lamented, how he didn't think Ron Paul would of done so well with women, it turned out he delivered half the children in the county and was on a first name basis with every woman in his district.
The only people Ron Paul has been giving the finger to is a government that has been taking %50 of everything you make since 1914.
You did not listen to what he said at all. If we had approached this problem in another way other than giving away billions to failing companys, we would not have the crappy economy we have today. If a company can't operate on it's own, it should be allowed to fail. I don't want to pay to keep failing businesses alive.
Hey, check out my Ron Paul vs Lincoln video. If you don't believe in secession, then you believe in slavery, for you are for enslaving people to a government that they want no part of:
i like to vote for people who advocate forcibly taking money from one person to pay another person to prevent someone from doing something in the privacy of their own home
Listen, everybody, and listen well. YOU, that's right, YOU have to become a PCP, a pricinct commitee person in your county! If the office is occupied by someone else, file for the neighboring precinct. WE THE PEOPLE can elect Ron Paul in 2012, because the PCP's of this country, by county, are the ones who vote in the primary elections. WE CAN DO IT!
The cryin' children need fascism! C'mon, you cold-hearted capitalists! You can't deny those cryin children the ability to extort your money, your kids' money, and all the future wealth and freedom of America, could you? They're so cute, and sympathetic! And because they're on TV they're worth more than your kids, who never got their 15 minutes of fame....
Unions have destroyed this country, not the workers. Why don't you attack the greedy union Boss who brought this greed ank lack of standards upon us. When GM is doling out more in retirement benefits that it takes in profit. How can any company survive. Then who wins? No one to pay $78.00 an hour, with full co. bennies, vacation etc. , No one to pay retirement ben. , and the once profitable stock becomes worthless. Great Job unions, you sucked your employer dry. so now everyone loses. .
Ron Paul is no friend to the working people. His plan of de-centralizing everything and moving everything back to the states will make it easier for businesses to control the governments. Furthermore, Paul's vote against the Employee Free Choice Act is flat-out disgusting. Why does the working class support Paul? Because the corporate media has made them blind.
What, you mean they don't want 3 bucks an hour flipping burgers? They can always live in a cardboard box, can't they? (Not a serious comment, of course. The current economic model does not work, and no politician is going to change it for us - we, the people must change it, or it will not get changed. )
What kind of stupid logic is this. By bailing these workers (or more appropriately, the companies they work for) out you're simply taxing other workers. The government can only spend what it taxes, and that lost money will cost other people their jobs.

Fringe, Your an idiot. I heard that whole report from Ron Paul & you used that little 11 second snippet to try & demonize him & connect him to it. Ron Paul stated that if GM had been allowed to go under it would have forced them to go into bankruptcy reorganization & jobs could have been saved. Your a fucking fraud & a hack! & btw, David Koresh wasn't the loony the Media made him out to be. The truth is already known. It's already been confessed by operatives in the CIA You dumb son of a bitch!
T.F.C. How could you be so shameless!!!!! You should be embarrassed for putting out this WORTHLESS propaganda. Who pays you to come up with this cheap stuff???
That's not what he's saying at all - you must have only heard the last sentence. He's saying the government is trying to prop up these failing business & that won't help the situation because it's no longer a sustainable business model. If you let it fail, other companies can buy up the failed business' capital & put it towards building their owns business & hence the potential to create new jobs. Even w/the cash for clunkers program, the company that made the most money was Toyota.
Sorry, you completely turned this man's words around in his mouth. Ron Paul didn't say nor mean that laid off workers will find a new job pretty soon in this crappy economy. He did say that they would Iff these companies would have been allowed to die NATURALLY, which obviously they didn't. And it's NO wonder, since his mentioned NATURAL dying of companys as well as the natural rebuilding/resurrection of them require a FREE market and SOUND money, which simply isn't the case.
I live in Buffalo and I have talked to former management of Bethlehem Steel. The reason they left was mostly the unions. Union membership is on the decline and it's their own fault. The growth in the union movement is mostly in the government sector. The unions shifted to the public sector in our area and the taxes are some of the highest in the country and the local economy sucks. The US Chamber of Commerce has a great series of white papers entitled "Responding to Union Rhetoric."
The state of the US economy is much the fault of price fixing interest rates and the creation of a phony economy that is two-thirds consumer spending. Americans saved nothing, bought things they couldn't afford with huge debt, sucked all of the real production from foreign countries, let the size of government increase to monstrous proportions etc...
You bitch and moan about people not being able to find work but they continue the same bad behaviour and keep voting in the same people.
Youtube users who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. If people actually implemented the ideas that Paul expounds then we'd have a vibrant, healthy economy and a higher standard of living for everyone almost immediately. If you follow the Obama plan, you're looking at an economic depression.
Not sure why, maybe if Hayek had a slide show like Al Gore, his Nobel prize would have gotten more attention. You're not entirely correct in your assertion of no country applying the theory. Before it was a considered "Austrian theory", it was "Adam Smith's theory" and the foundation of the United States' economy. It did exactly what I said it would do in my previous comment until it was slowly abandoned at by leaders of the late 19th and 20th century in favor of socialism and empire building.
Because Austrian Economics correctly identifies the cause of the problem: Govt Intervention. Still amazes me that main stream economics never recognize the ridiculousness of bubbles until after the fact, yet Austrians see it coming as soon as the bubbles begin.
But the correct way for the crisis to fix itself is for the activities that everyone recognized was ridiculous to stop, labor and resources to shift back to consumer wants/needs and prices to fall to affordable levels.
Perfect example. The Dpet of Labor fines and taxes businesses for hiring too many people for "fair competition." yet we're in the middle of high unemployment. Plus the fines take away businesses' ability to drop prices to affordable levels to remain productive and keep the jobs they already have. So the have to lay off more workers. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?? Tell Govt to get the hell out of the way and let the economy fix itself.
@TheFringeCult So, you expect the ministers of power and violence to somehow defend liberty and justice? To genuinely sacrifice their seats of power to realize a greater good for those they represent?
I wonder why entities that get away with murder don't instead apply a system based on freedom of choice, instead of depending on their centralized power... its mind-boggling... maybe... they don't know how to survive without their power and what it affords them?
@TheFringeCult I would say the reason few to no countrys have applied austrian economics is because it calls for the government to shrink in power and wealth. That would be bad if you were working in government.
@TheFringeCult please tell me then how these Keynesian idiots have done anything but accelerated the booms and busts through the federal reserve, before it came in we were the most prosperous country by far
@TheFringeCult Yes, because it would mean the end of state arbitrary power, and no government would ever accept that. Imagine if, a thousand years ago, I tell you that since no country even considers constitutionalism, then therefore its not a good form of government. It's an absurd argument
@TheFringeCult This country basically followed the Austrian School for the first 100 or so years of its existence. Of course, it wasn't called the Austrian school back then, it was an economic philosophy of Adam Smith. It's not a coincidence that people back then immigrated here for opportunity; opportunity afforded them by economic and personal freedom. Now they immigrate here and to Europe for government freebies.
I agree with you in everything except the immediate higher standard of living claim. Remember, what's good in the short term is bad in the long, and vice verse. Ron Paul advocates cutting gov. spending big time and cutting entitlement spending. This will cause a lot of pain in the short term. So much so that people will hate Ron Paul for the first few years. Then he'll go down in history as the best president ever.
@ryratt You and people like you are the only idiots I can see.
If you go back 200 years and look at Europe now it wasnt any better at all. If you privatise everything, you hand the power to the rich elite and say ""Hey, you want me as your slave"". Because thats what you get. Workers gets no rights. Owners will decide what to pay you. Child labour is legal again. Restrictions dont exist, etc.
This means the rich elite controlls everything. YOU need to wake up.
@gulbirk The rich elite you decry benefit from government regulation. A huge corporation can afford to hire people that help them comply with onerous laws. A mom-and-pop operation has a more difficult time. This is why fewer companies own more of a given industry as time goes on. Unregulated industries, like software, are producing more independent, rich startups.
@ryratt Monopolies, rich people and corporations existed before taxation and regulations and restrictions.
My argument is not to create monopolies. The point is not to have a regulation for the sake of having a regulation. The point is to create an equal society, which is not what we have now, and certainly now what we used to have.

@gulbirk True monopolies cannot exist without the government forcing them on us. A free-market allows opportunity to challenge a monopoly. You might also consider the fact that unions are basically monopolies on labor.
A society in which everyone has equal wealth and resources is impossible, and attempts to create such an outcome have resulted in the most tyrannical governments in all of history. What I, and other libertarians demand is freedom from government to create our own opportunities.

THANK YOU! IT COULDN'T BE THAT EASY COULD IT??!!!???!!! I think everyone is over thinking this one...people always fall back on the argument that you can't just let all those people loose their jobs.... it's not their fault it's their companies... let them find work at a company that knows how to turn a profit.
I don't even know where to begin. Whole lotta nonsense here.
It's ridiculous to say that we can fix our economy with more deficit spending, borrowing from the Chinese, and creating money out of thin air (inflation), when that's what caused the problems we have today.
The government can't create jobs because the government doesn't produce goods or services. They redistribute wealth. They only have what they take from us. We need less government, not more. We need free markets, not socialism.
Second, you let them fail, declare bankruptcy and let new investors come buy it up that will run it properly, but no. Obama takes the "reigns" and doles the company out as he sees fit so now all the jobs are being scattered aroun the world to china, south america, europe and so on. You sir are retarded. No offense to the mentaly disabled.
how dare you try inserting Mr. Ron Paul into this mishmash of crappy clips. He has nothing to do with any of the bull you put on here lmao, I think you might want to go step back and think for a second about what he is REALY saying... First of all these companies did this to themselves. What do you think the CEO's for Chrysler just wake up one morning, look at their books and are like "oh shit we're broke" no IDIOT they have seen this comming for years and did nothing to remedy the situation.
If we let the gov't run the private sector we will get fascism. if we let them run health care we will get eugenics and involuntary experimentation at the benefit of big pharma. our federal gov't needs to stick to its constitutional mandate and butt out of our lives.
whats amazing is that the same people who say they care about the average working family who is struggling, are the same people who somehow say that taking money from them and giving it to all the jews on wall street, is somehow good for the workers lol. such ignorance from people. just because you say you care doesnt mean your actions are a benifit. obama can say all he wants about helping average americans but he keeps taking our money and giving it to the richest people and huge companies.
Just because Ron Paul believes in Capitalism and not propping up insolvent institutions through bailouts does not mean he does not care about workers.
It is not prudent to run a business the way that GM did. They made shitty cars, gave too many concessions to unions, and did not save for a rainy day. There is no reason for a company to borrow money from it's primary customers, and now it's primary shareholders. But then again it just goes to show out of touch with reality most people are.
unions gave too many concessions to GM, and they closed plant after plant. Flint is decimated because of GM and it was once a fine city. I dont see anything wrong with Rep. Paul said. GM is taking 1 billion and investing it in Brazil. They will soon be importing cars from china. this is treason. gov't and business melding together like we are seeing is classic fascism. if we allowed the free markets to work healthy companies would have purchased the good assets of gm and employed more workers
Thing is, I don't see him giving the finger... I think the money would have better been used in other areas. Why would I buy GM when there are so many other companies in the market making better choices for consumers? It failed and will continue to fail because it will have to reestablish itself and that could take a long time with less workers to do so. It doesn't help the ones already fired, they will no create jobs for a long time if any at all. Look through history, it's continual fail.
ron paul didnt give them the middle finger, the people handing them free money did.... and why is it that they received this money and only these lower level workers are being terminated?
You took that way out of context. He is saying that instead of getting our corrupt government involved spending OUR money to save a shitty company, we should of let it fail and let all of the assets be spread over the companys that know what they are doing. Our government is pissing our money away on this one. Nobody is gonna buy shitty little eco death traps made by government motors.
Police departments and fire departments are two perfect examples socialism. Taxpayers pay for these two departments .
By your understanding should everyone have an option to opt out of paying taxes for these expensive socialist police and fire departments and have an option to have frequent encounters with all types criminals in your neighborhood ?
The problem is, we still do any way... And it's going to get much worse. I've had some crazy run ins with police that run up the ticket. And I don't find this socialism still mainly because I have a chance to fight it through courts... A socialist society would just consider you guilty before innocent. Or just guilty, period. It would be totally left up to the discretion of the officer or higher ranking official and you wouldn't have any say.
Why do you guys try to scare people with words like 'socialism' as if Americans are totally unfamiliar to socialism. From Social Security to Medicare to police and fire departments to public libraries to postal service. Is there anything dead scary about these very familiar things ?
No, no, no. Fire departments, Social Security, education, public works, etc. are all forms of non-profit public services which involve general infrastructure. The government, which is supposed to be representatives of the people, is the logical administrator of services such as these. For the gov to start taking on roles like manufacturing of goods and other for-profit enterprises is expansion of civil services to socialism.
I wont mind government getting into for-profit enterprises if the liquidation of such enterprises would amount to 10s of thousands in unemployment with government eventually has to pay in employment insurance payments and health care coverage for a sustained period and further loss of other businesses that depend directly or indirectly on these employees.
You're concentrating on one positive of socialism - that of income and benefit security for employees. . . Hard to argue with that. But don't forget that our present day government is extremely corrupt, and not a true constitutional republic.
Hard to argue with what? income and benefit security for employees? Where does this security come from? From extortion of other productive people - if done for prolonged intervals, it destroys everything that is good about human kind, including lives.
OMFG, you retard!, governments has never ever anywhere in the world be able to run enterprises for profit, socialism fails, china gave it up, the ussr was destroyed because of it
you dont make sense. if the government getting into "for-profit enterprises" would save jobs then why when EVERYOTHER time a country or government does that, it doesnt work. according to your logic cuba and the failed soviet union were sucessfull instoping unemployment lol. your putting way way too much faith in "gov intervention" if that was the end all fix all then why does it fail EVERY time? you refuse to understand that nothing is free and bailouts strangle the rest of the ecomomy.
Isn't there? 40,000 dead on roads. Generational theft, postponing the bankruptcy by robbing future generations to pay current ones via social security taxes? You think there is nothing scary about a few thousand dollars spent everytime a cat climbs up a tree and gets stuck? Forget that - what about police and their irresponsible actions, if that isn't dead scary, what is?
They(police)should be public services, only come when summoned or in public areas to protect. Not just come in your home when they feel like it because they were overhearing you on tapped lines talk about guns or something. Medicare is biased, libraries are "controlled" as is on what materials you read and cannot really be a good source of research, and social security is broke soon which is why I wouldn't want someone else securing my future, only person that can do that effectively is yourself
Thats like expecting a snake to bite only when you want it to.. Sorry, but tax funded police is just as bad as the hitmen of the mob - even worse if possible. The mobsters had to control their activities as to not piss off the people that paid for their living.
May be you should consider hiring Zetas (the hit squad of Mexico's Gulf Cartel) for your security. I'm pretty sure they will offer you the justice you are seeking for.
Once again, you fail to realize that Mexico's drug cartel would not exist if drugs were legal. Do you even realize how fucking easy it is to get drugs even though they're illegal? I can get any drug any time I want. If I don't do drugs, it's because I CHOOSE not to do them, not because they're illegal!
The "War on Drugs" has proven to be a failure. However, people like you would rather put money into the hands of dangerous drug cartels on the black market instead of taxing it for revenue.
Cocaine was legal in the US for a period in early 1900s and was widely used to sell variety of drinks laced with cocaine. Have you read any studies on effects of coke addiction on health of people and the society as a whole during that period ?
We all know the dangers of cocaine, which is why the majority of people in this country CHOOSE not to use cocaine. If any foods or beverages are made with cocaine, you can easily put a label stating that and have an age limit. Having it illegal, a dealer will sell it to ANYBODY they can get money from regardless of age so minors can obtain it EASIER if it's illegal. If you need a license to sell it, they are less likely to sell it to minors and risk losing their license and getting fined.
Again, you're confusing NO LAWS with LIMITED LAWS. My cousin is a recovering crackhead and I STILL think drugs should be legal.
Nobody forced the fucking retard to smoke crack. The dumb bastard CHOSE to put the crack pipe to his lips. Did keeping it illegal prevent this from happening? No! It's just a waste of our tax money and government resources. If eople want to do drugs, they will, regardless of illegality.
The best you can do is educate about the dangers of drugs and hope for the best.
Yeah why spend billions of tax dollars on preventing crimes since no government anywhere in world has been able to stop crimes from happening.
Forget about the effects of crimes on individuals and the society and lets instead lets make money out of every crimes by legalizing them right ? Instead of government having to spend tax dollars fighting crimes lets license criminals and collect tax from them.
Wow, what an amazingly pathetic argument that was. That's really the only reply you have? I didn't say government shouldn't prevent crimes, now you're playing the role of scumbag politician by putting words in my mouth.
Why should the government have the ability to tell you what you can or can not put in your body? As long as it comes with a warning and you are made aware of the dangers involved, the choice should be left up to you!
The Incas used coca leaves to relieve pain. We currently use morphine in hospitals which is made from opium. Marijuana has been proven to have medicinal benefits for glaucoma, AIDS, and cancer patients.
Dismissing all drugs as evil and of no value is completely idiotic. They can be used for positive purposes if they are not abused or used incorrectly. The ONLY thing that can prevent that is one's own will-power, not some bullshit laws!
In Canada, the federal govt's health agency Health Canada licenses selected marijuana growers to supply for sale to registered patients suffering from a range of diseases who have been referred by licensed doctors. The program has run fairly well.
The United States has the same kind of deal with medicinal marijuana, except OUR federal government goes above and beyond the Constitution in states that have these programs and throws sick people in prison! A DIRECT VIOLATION of the 10 Amendment!
All this video shows is how big of a waste of money all this bailout shit was...something ron paul denounced. He was the one warning about this back in early 2000....no one listened. He is the only one saying the gov. has done enough, the market must run its course...but no one is listening. The recession was inevitable by 2007, jobs will be lost. Workers would have an easier time finding work if the gov. would stop prolonging the inevitable.
TheFringeCult: Government cannot create wealth. All it can do is forcibly take it from one person and give it to another. This is immoral and inefficient. Government is not a black box where in goes a problem and out comes the solution. It's only a trick used to make you hand them more power. In go our freedoms and there they stay. Think about it, if government could create wealth there would be no poverty and no unemployment. Only people who are free to think and act can create wealth.
The role of the government is not to create wealth. Role of the government is to create just society and stop it from becoming dysfunctional Somalia like chaotic anarchic libertarian society.
Well Somalia has a lot of great things set up by rational interests like private police forces (similar to Blackwater) who protect warlords, private navy (pirates) who hijack ships, fully deregulated airports, seaports and so on.
hey! First show me where the chaos and dysfunction is? I am totally fine with Anarchy - although I understand folks like you getting terrified. Don't worry your boyfriend Bubba can protect you.
I agree FringeCult, the role of the govt is not to create wealth. A just society, however, isn't "created". It's the natural state. Justice is merely the absence of injustice. If govt has a role it's to keep injustice from reigning. This means it should serve ONLY to protect our lives and property. When they take from one person and give to another they act contrary to this purpose and turn a crime into the law. Many would argue this is inevitable when an institution has a monopoly on force.
Society was not created 'perfect' from the very beginning of time nor it is static. It evolves overtime. Government is simply a reflection of state of a society after all in democracy government is created from, by and for members within that society.
If you agree that the role of govt is to protect lives then health care is a perfect issue for it to get involved in. After all without good health no one is going to be a productive member of society.
FringeCult: Again I say that society isn't created. It's just a word to describe a lot of individuals trying to go about their daily lives. Our govt is supposed to be a republic -- not a democracy. There's a BIG difference.
The role of govt should be to protect our lives and property FROM OTHER PEOPLE -- not from the cruelties of mother nature. Govt cannot give us things like health care without first violating it's role as protector of our property. A very slippery slope to go down indeed.
The opposite of democracy is liberty. We're shooting for LESS authority here.
Somehow, you think that less rights and less freedoms = more freedom?
Sure, we can all have the right to vote... so long as it makes no difference in anyone's actions. It keeps us quiet and FEELING powerful. But real political power comes from the barrel of a gun, and a communist said that so chew on that for a while.
FringeCult, why do you think the pledge of allegiance says "to the REPUBLIC for which it stands:"? Democracy means rule by popularity and all the people, while a Republic means rule by law and representatives. It does NOT mean authoritarian rule. On the contrary it means no one, not even those in power, are above the law. If the majority of people want to imprison you for no reason a Democracy will not protect you but a Republic will (or at least try).
We'll never be a democracy, never has really been... It's all illusion... It's a monetocracy... Just like how the bailouts went to the banks, they spent it on lobbyists and we all know that lobbyists are overpowered over the people and petitions.
why such love for a government that feels as if they own you and your labor? I don't get it, are you employed by the government? do you earn your living from tax based income? Seems like it
@TheFringeCult A republic is a representative democracy dumbass. You have posted way too many comments to be trolling so gtfo and learn something for once. Their point was wrong in the part about democracies and republics as either can have many purposes, but our particular republic was intended as they say it is.
As far as protecting property is concerned well slaves were considered property of slave owners before the Civil War.
As far as taking from one and giving it to some else is concerned and if you feel it should not happen then well you should not be allowed to travel on highways or airports or police after all these things were built and maintained by givings of millions of tax dollars of some one else. Why should everyone else fund these things for you to use ?
Each person is his own property. A slave owner's claim cannot override this fact -- even with the sanction of the written law. This further proves how govt often favors one group at the expense of another.
Maybe you didn't mean it but there is no "giving" of tax dollars. It is taken. The answer to your question is, "they shouldn't". But don't force us to pay then. How about just giving me and others the ability to opt out? We could try a peaceful private approach. You wouldn't mind would you?
It only proves that you feel it is ok to keep slavery alive in the name of property rights. Do you live in the year 2009 or the year 1840s ?
Actually I'm fine with the idea of people opting out of paying any taxes at all in return banning such people from using any tax funded things like road, bridges ,highways, airports, police, fire, departments, Passport, and anything that has any level of govt involvement at all level from local level to federal level.
You misunderstand me FringeCult. Let me try again. We own our own bodies therefore no one else can make a legitimate claim to them -- not even if the law says it's ok. The slave owners, therefore, had no legitimate claim to the slaves. Govt should have protected the slaves and freed them instead of helping the slave owners. But, as usual, they protected those who were politically connected instead. I hope this is clear.
You forgot to add the DMV and the post office to your list. You also forgot to put the words pothole and traffic jam next to highways and the word collapse next to bridges. I would take freedom every time over all of these poorly run services. As a bonus freedom brings with it competition which would give those of us who opted out much better services. We would have cutting edge services while you drove on roads from the 1950s and depended on an air traffic control network from world war II.
The monetary system is the slave design of this age... We will never be truley free because the system is corrupt and we always remain in debt. It's the reason for the corruption we deal with every day, why average people will turn to crime and why people cannot see past a certain view because we all are forced to be sheep. It's a learned behavior.
Ron Paul has a vision of a better world. He has a strong passion for spreading the truth. He motivates people to take responsibility for themselves and there loved ones. He unites people from all different backgrounds who join together under one message. The message of freedom. We don't need the government to do things for society. We the people are much more capable of dealing with problems we face in society, most of which were worsened if not caused from government in the first place. WAKEUP!
He is an anarchist . He wants to create a society without any common sense rules and regulations so the eventual result will be a jungle-like dysfunctional society. Like the one exist in Somalia.
This is guy who still advocates deregulation of Wall Street when it is pretty self evident that deregulation of Wall Street led small and big financial institutions to engage in pretty shady practices.
You can't be further from the truth. This tells me you don't know much about Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is an Anti-Federalist, meaning more government at lower levels, in other words, the Federal government is limited in what it can do inside a state, a State government is limited in what it can do in a City and a City laws are decided upon by the people who live there.
His anti-federalist talk is nothing but a political posturing and ploy to get some votes. When he comes to receiving earmarks (federal dollars) he is never an anti-federalist. In a single year he received 400 million dollars in earmarks.
He loads up earmark bills with earmarks and to show he is anti-federalist he votes against his own earmark filled bill when it becomes pretty clear that his vote wont affect the outcome therefore he gets to have it both ways.
Actually it is his staff that turns in all the Earmarks, he tells them to turn them all in so the Executive Branch can't spend the taxpayers money on what ever they want.
500 characters are not enough to explain the stupid earmark system they have other than the money from earmarks is already being spent, it just "earmarks" some of that spending for a particular program.
RP's stance is that every spending bill should be 100% earmarked. No money given to the executive branch not earmarked.
No, Ron Paul IS NOT an anarchist! Apparently, you don't know the difference between a libertarian and an anarchist. If you're incapable of knowing the difference, your opinion is completely irrelevant.
Libertarians believe government's only role is to help individuals defend themselves from force and fraud (government only exists to protect individual rights).
An anarchist is a person who promotes disorder or excites revolt against any established rule or law. So, you're wrong.
His wants to get rid of Dept of Education, FDA, FAA, EPA, FBI, CIA, DEA,SEC and so on. If states were to handle all these areas independently why bother remaining part of the union. Just become independent nation states after all he entertained the idea of secession of Texas.
Haha, I wonder why ratings are disabled... Hmmm...

He is WRONG!
deeppurple28 9 months ago
@deeppurple28 The government can do it but it doesn't last because it always grows and the money runs out. What we are seeing today is the FAILURE of the government run programs, because it is allll 100% bankrupt. But also I guess you did not know that Paul does not participate in the congressional pension fund scheme, and just as with the pension scheme he has also voluntarily opted out of the congressional health care benefits. So you have to get your facts straight before yelling profanations
Lunartechno 9 months ago
@Lunartechno No Profanity here, just the truth! I mean every time Ron Paul talks about how bad government is, it reminds me of a little quote from a Congressman, A congressman that Corporate America couldn't afford to have! "Don't Hate Government because you are BAD at it"- Alan Grayson! There so many things that are true about that statement! First of all, on who's pay roll is Ron Paul on? That's right , he is on Government pay roll! Who does he get his health care from? The Government!
deeppurple28 9 months ago
@Lunartechno Why can't we receive a model similar to the health care that everyone in Congress and The Military gets! Apparently The Government is inadequate when providing health care to citizens, but it isn't when providing it too Politicians and the Military! Hmm, I wonder why??
deeppurple28 9 months ago
@deeppurple28 because it doesn't work, you can't give it to everyone. The only way it works is if the many serve the few. We just need a free market where real people do things without regulations where risk and the rule of law are the weighs and measures of success... The government is no match for the entrepreneur/consumer relationship. Healthcare would be cheaper and more responsible if the government wouldn't protect giant corporations from what the mom and pops get punished for doing.
Lunartechno 9 months ago
@Lunartechno You can't give it to anyone? Let me tell you something, When this country was established, a Central Government was also established! Do you paulbots have any idea why the founding Fathers believed that a Strong Central Government was necessary? That's your homework for tonight! Ron Paul loves undermining the government, but he never tells his retarded supporters that the Founding Fathers saw the need for a Strong Centralized Government!!
deeppurple28 9 months ago
@deeppurple28 a strong central government is the exact opposite of what we have today. 14 trillion dollars of debt? sounds pretty weak to me. Government run education with one of the dumbest populations (the founding fathers never dreamed of the horror of today)? sounds pretty weak to me. Social security medicare and medicaid all bankrupt? sounds pretty weak to me... oh wait! those programs were never even supposed to exist thats why the founders didn't put them in the constitution. Weak.
Lunartechno 9 months ago
@deeppurple28 The majority of our founders were highly opposed to a strong central government. There was a constantly clash between those who wanted a strong central government with Washington as king and those who wanted government to be as minimal and local as possible. The constitution was set up to limit the central government. Madison (the father of the Constitution), Jefferson, Franklin, and most others were highly opposed to any strong central government.

Great Job unions, you sucked your employer dry. so now everyone loses. .

Ron Paul is no friend to the working people. His plan of de-centralizing everything and moving everything back to the states will make it easier for businesses to control the governments. What kind of stupid logic is this. By bailing these workers (or more appropriately, the companies they work for) out you're simply taxing other workers. The government can only spend what it taxes, and that lost money will cost other people their jobs.

So basically would you do is using his arguments under wrong, unintended premises.
joeseth05 2 years ago
Sorry, you completely turned this man's words around in his mouth. Ron Paul didn't say nor mean that laid off workers will find a new job pretty soon in this crappy economy. He did say that they would Iff these companies would have been allowed to die NATURALLY, which obviously they didn't. And it's NO wonder, since his mentioned NATURAL dying of companys as well as the natural rebuilding/resurrection of them require a FREE market and SOUND money, which simply isn't the case.
joeseth05 2 years ago
I live in Buffalo and I have talked to former management of Bethlehem Steel. The reason they left was mostly the unions. Union membership is on the decline and it's their own fault. The growth in the union movement is mostly in the government sector. The unions shifted to the public sector in our area and the taxes are some of the highest in the country and the local economy sucks. The US Chamber of Commerce has a great series of white papers entitled "Responding to Union Rhetoric."
corymd3470 2 years ago
The state of the US economy is much the fault of price fixing interest rates and the creation of a phony economy that is two-thirds consumer spending. Americans saved nothing, bought things they couldn't afford with huge debt, sucked all of the real production from foreign countries, let the size of government increase to monstrous proportions etc...
You bitch and moan about people not being able to find work but they continue the same bad behaviour and keep voting in the same people.
corymd3470 2 years ago
Youtube users who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. If people actually implemented the ideas that Paul expounds then we'd have a vibrant, healthy economy and a higher standard of living for everyone almost immediately. If you follow the Obama plan, you're looking at an economic depression.

No wonder not a single country in the world even considers applying Ron Paul's Austrian Theory of Economics.
Do I even need to know why ?
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
Not sure why, maybe if Hayek had a slide show like Al Gore, his Nobel prize would have gotten more attention. You're not entirely correct in your assertion of no country applying the theory. Before it was a considered "Austrian theory", it was "Adam Smith's theory" and the foundation of the United States' economy. It did exactly what I said it would do in my previous comment until it was slowly abandoned at by leaders of the late 19th and 20th century in favor of socialism and empire building.
ryratt 2 years ago 2
Because Austrian Economics correctly identifies the cause of the problem: Govt Intervention. Still amazes me that main stream economics never recognize the ridiculousness of bubbles until after the fact, yet Austrians see it coming as soon as the bubbles begin.
But the correct way for the crisis to fix itself is for the activities that everyone recognized was ridiculous to stop, labor and resources to shift back to consumer wants/needs and prices to fall to affordable levels.
thomasst2 2 years ago
Perfect example. The Dpet of Labor fines and taxes businesses for hiring too many people for "fair competition." yet we're in the middle of high unemployment. Plus the fines take away businesses' ability to drop prices to affordable levels to remain productive and keep the jobs they already have. So the have to lay off more workers. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?? Tell Govt to get the hell out of the way and let the economy fix itself.

This means the rich elite controlls everything. YOU need to wake up.
gulbirk 5 months ago
@gulbirk The rich elite you decry benefit from government regulation. A huge corporation can afford to hire people that help them comply with onerous laws. A mom-and-pop operation has a more difficult time. This is why fewer companies own more of a given industry as time goes on. Unregulated industries, like software, are producing more independent, rich startups.

@ryratt Monopolies, rich people and corporations existed before taxation and regulations and restrictions.

@gulbirk True monopolies cannot exist without the government forcing them on us. A free-market allows opportunity to challenge a monopoly. You might also consider the fact that unions are basically monopolies on labor.

whats amazing is that the same people who say they care about the average working family who is struggling, are the same people who somehow say that taking money from them and giving it to all the jews on wall street, is somehow good for the workers lol. such ignorance from people. just because you say you care doesnt mean your actions are a benifit. obama can say all he wants about helping average americans but he keeps taking our money and giving it to the richest people and huge companies.
slickbtk 2 years ago
Just because Ron Paul believes in Capitalism and not propping up insolvent institutions through bailouts does not mean he does not care about workers.
It is not prudent to run a business the way that GM did. They made shitty cars, gave too many concessions to unions, and did not save for a rainy day. There is no reason for a company to borrow money from it's primary customers, and now it's primary shareholders. But then again it just goes to show out of touch with reality most people are.
FreedomFighter2285 2 years ago
unions gave too many concessions to GM, and they closed plant after plant. Flint is decimated because of GM and it was once a fine city. I dont see anything wrong with Rep. Paul said. GM is taking 1 billion and investing it in Brazil. They will soon be importing cars from china. this is treason. gov't and business melding together like we are seeing is classic fascism. if we allowed the free markets to work healthy companies would have purchased the good assets of gm and employed more workers
snappa52 2 years ago
Thing is, I don't see him giving the finger... I think the money would have better been used in other areas. Why would I buy GM when there are so many other companies in the market making better choices for consumers? It failed and will continue to fail because it will have to reestablish itself and that could take a long time with less workers to do so. It doesn't help the ones already fired, they will no create jobs for a long time if any at all. Look through history, it's continual fail.
neoplasmax 2 years ago
ron paul didnt give them the middle finger, the people handing them free money did.... and why is it that they received this money and only these lower level workers are being terminated?
SmashedBobNoPants 2 years ago
You took that way out of context. He is saying that instead of getting our corrupt government involved spending OUR money to save a shitty company, we should of let it fail and let all of the assets be spread over the companys that know what they are doing. Our government is pissing our money away on this one. Nobody is gonna buy shitty little eco death traps made by government motors.

Star123445 2 years ago
Police departments and fire departments are two perfect examples socialism. Taxpayers pay for these two departments .
By your understanding should everyone have an option to opt out of paying taxes for these expensive socialist police and fire departments and have an option to have frequent encounters with all types criminals in your neighborhood ?
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
The problem is, we still do any way... And it's going to get much worse. I've had some crazy run ins with police that run up the ticket. And I don't find this socialism still mainly because I have a chance to fight it through courts... A socialist society would just consider you guilty before innocent. Or just guilty, period. It would be totally left up to the discretion of the officer or higher ranking official and you wouldn't have any say.
neoplasmax 2 years ago
Why do you guys try to scare people with words like 'socialism' as if Americans are totally unfamiliar to socialism. From Social Security to Medicare to police and fire departments to public libraries to postal service. Is there anything dead scary about these very familiar things ?
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
Star123445 2 years ago
I wont mind government getting into for-profit enterprises if the liquidation of such enterprises would amount to 10s of thousands in unemployment with government eventually has to pay in employment insurance payments and health care coverage for a sustained period and further loss of other businesses that depend directly or indirectly on these employees.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
You're concentrating on one positive of socialism - that of income and benefit security for employees. . . Hard to argue with that. But don't forget that our present day government is extremely corrupt, and not a true constitutional republic.
Star123445 2 years ago
Hard to argue with what? income and benefit security for employees? Where does this security come from? From extortion of other productive people - if done for prolonged intervals, it destroys everything that is good about human kind, including lives.
utubehayter 2 years ago
OMFG, you retard!, governments has never ever anywhere in the world be able to run enterprises for profit, socialism fails, china gave it up, the ussr was destroyed because of it
shaynehunter 2 years ago
you dont make sense. if the government getting into "for-profit enterprises" would save jobs then why when EVERYOTHER time a country or government does that, it doesnt work. according to your logic cuba and the failed soviet union were sucessfull instoping unemployment lol. your putting way way too much faith in "gov intervention" if that was the end all fix all then why does it fail EVERY time? you refuse to understand that nothing is free and bailouts strangle the rest of the ecomomy.

Who do you mean by "you guys?" I think you might have me mistaken for someone else.
Star123445 2 years ago
Isn't there? 40,000 dead on roads. Generational theft, postponing the bankruptcy by robbing future generations to pay current ones via social security taxes? You think there is nothing scary about a few thousand dollars spent everytime a cat climbs up a tree and gets stuck? Forget that - what about police and their irresponsible actions, if that isn't dead scary, what is?
utubehayter 2 years ago
They(police)should be public services, only come when summoned or in public areas to protect. Not just come in your home when they feel like it because they were overhearing you on tapped lines talk about guns or something. Medicare is biased, libraries are "controlled" as is on what materials you read and cannot really be a good source of research, and social security is broke soon which is why I wouldn't want someone else securing my future, only person that can do that effectively is yourself
neoplasmax 2 years ago
Thats like expecting a snake to bite only when you want it to.. Sorry, but tax funded police is just as bad as the hitmen of the mob - even worse if possible. The mobsters had to control their activities as to not piss off the people that paid for their living.

May be you should consider hiring Zetas (the hit squad of Mexico's Gulf Cartel) for your security. I'm pretty sure they will offer you the justice you are seeking for.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago

TheFringeCult 2 years ago
We all know the dangers of cocaine, which is why the majority of people in this country CHOOSE not to use cocaine. If any foods or beverages are made with cocaine, you can easily put a label stating that and have an age limit. Having it illegal, a dealer will sell it to ANYBODY they can get money from regardless of age so minors can obtain it EASIER if it's illegal. If you need a license to sell it, they are less likely to sell it to minors and risk losing their license and getting fined.
Kras3169 2 years ago
Again, you're confusing NO LAWS with LIMITED LAWS. My cousin is a recovering crackhead and I STILL think drugs should be legal.
Nobody forced the fucking retard to smoke crack. The dumb bastard CHOSE to put the crack pipe to his lips. Did keeping it illegal prevent this from happening? No! It's just a waste of our tax money and government resources. If eople want to do drugs, they will, regardless of illegality.
The best you can do is educate about the dangers of drugs and hope for the best.
Kras3169 2 years ago
Yeah why spend billions of tax dollars on preventing crimes since no government anywhere in world has been able to stop crimes from happening.
Forget about the effects of crimes on individuals and the society and lets instead lets make money out of every crimes by legalizing them right ? Instead of government having to spend tax dollars fighting crimes lets license criminals and collect tax from them.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
Wow, what an amazingly pathetic argument that was. That's really the only reply you have? I didn't say government shouldn't prevent crimes, now you're playing the role of scumbag politician by putting words in my mouth.
Why should the government have the ability to tell you what you can or can not put in your body? As long as it comes with a warning and you are made aware of the dangers involved, the choice should be left up to you!
Kras3169 2 years ago
The Incas used coca leaves to relieve pain. We currently use morphine in hospitals which is made from opium. Marijuana has been proven to have medicinal benefits for glaucoma, AIDS, and cancer patients.
Dismissing all drugs as evil and of no value is completely idiotic. They can be used for positive purposes if they are not abused or used incorrectly. The ONLY thing that can prevent that is one's own will-power, not some bullshit laws!
Kras3169 2 years ago
In Canada, the federal govt's health agency Health Canada licenses selected marijuana growers to supply for sale to registered patients suffering from a range of diseases who have been referred by licensed doctors. The program has run fairly well.
I have no problems with such a program.

NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago 6
The role of the government is not to create wealth. Role of the government is to create just society and stop it from becoming dysfunctional Somalia like chaotic anarchic libertarian society.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
dysfunctional? When was the last time you took a good look at somalia? What do you know about somalia anyway?
utubehayter 2 years ago
Well Somalia has a lot of great things set up by rational interests like private police forces (similar to Blackwater) who protect warlords, private navy (pirates) who hijack ships, fully deregulated airports, seaports and so on.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
and that is bad... how?
utubehayter 2 years ago

TheFringeCult 2 years ago

utubehayter 2 years ago
I agree FringeCult, the role of the govt is not to create wealth. A just society, however, isn't "created". It's the natural state. Justice is merely the absence of injustice. If govt has a role it's to keep injustice from reigning. This means it should serve ONLY to protect our lives and property. When they take from one person and give to another they act contrary to this purpose and turn a crime into the law. Many would argue this is inevitable when an institution has a monopoly on force.
NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago 4
Society was not created 'perfect' from the very beginning of time nor it is static. It evolves overtime. Government is simply a reflection of state of a society after all in democracy government is created from, by and for members within that society.
If you agree that the role of govt is to protect lives then health care is a perfect issue for it to get involved in. After all without good health no one is going to be a productive member of society.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
FringeCult: Again I say that society isn't created. It's just a word to describe a lot of individuals trying to go about their daily lives. Our govt is supposed to be a republic -- not a democracy. There's a BIG difference.
The role of govt should be to protect our lives and property FROM OTHER PEOPLE -- not from the cruelties of mother nature. Govt cannot give us things like health care without first violating it's role as protector of our property. A very slippery slope to go down indeed.
NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago
Your opinion: Our govt is supposed to be a republic -- not a democracy.
Does that mean you are promoting authoritarian rule. I guess the opposite of democracy is authoritarian rule.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
The opposite of democracy is liberty. We're shooting for LESS authority here.
Somehow, you think that less rights and less freedoms = more freedom?
Sure, we can all have the right to vote... so long as it makes no difference in anyone's actions. It keeps us quiet and FEELING powerful. But real political power comes from the barrel of a gun, and a communist said that so chew on that for a while.
EveryoneNeedsToChill 2 years ago
FringeCult, why do you think the pledge of allegiance says "to the REPUBLIC for which it stands:"? Democracy means rule by popularity and all the people, while a Republic means rule by law and representatives. It does NOT mean authoritarian rule. On the contrary it means no one, not even those in power, are above the law. If the majority of people want to imprison you for no reason a Democracy will not protect you but a Republic will (or at least try).
NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago
We'll never be a democracy, never has really been... It's all illusion... It's a monetocracy... Just like how the bailouts went to the banks, they spent it on lobbyists and we all know that lobbyists are overpowered over the people and petitions.

TheFringeCult 2 years ago
Each person is his own property. A slave owner's claim cannot override this fact -- even with the sanction of the written law. This further proves how govt often favors one group at the expense of another.
Maybe you didn't mean it but there is no "giving" of tax dollars. It is taken. The answer to your question is, "they shouldn't". But don't force us to pay then. How about just giving me and others the ability to opt out? We could try a peaceful private approach. You wouldn't mind would you?
NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago
It only proves that you feel it is ok to keep slavery alive in the name of property rights. Do you live in the year 2009 or the year 1840s ?
Actually I'm fine with the idea of people opting out of paying any taxes at all in return banning such people from using any tax funded things like road, bridges ,highways, airports, police, fire, departments, Passport, and anything that has any level of govt involvement at all level from local level to federal level.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
We would still pay State taxes, and our roads and bridges would be fine.
Federal tax to fund criminal wars?? NO.
More Federal tax to fund your public fires? Nope. Not happening.
Because you don't know what you're talking about and you're not productive in any way.
EveryoneNeedsToChill 2 years ago
You misunderstand me FringeCult. Let me try again. We own our own bodies therefore no one else can make a legitimate claim to them -- not even if the law says it's ok. The slave owners, therefore, had no legitimate claim to the slaves. Govt should have protected the slaves and freed them instead of helping the slave owners. But, as usual, they protected those who were politically connected instead. I hope this is clear.
NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago 2
You forgot to add the DMV and the post office to your list. You also forgot to put the words pothole and traffic jam next to highways and the word collapse next to bridges. I would take freedom every time over all of these poorly run services. As a bonus freedom brings with it competition which would give those of us who opted out much better services. We would have cutting edge services while you drove on roads from the 1950s and depended on an air traffic control network from world war II.
NoLegalPlunder 2 years ago 2

WAKEUP!

You are mixing Ron Paul up with Anarchists???
You can't be further from the truth. This tells me you don't know much about Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is an Anti-Federalist, meaning more government at lower levels, in other words, the Federal government is limited in what it can do inside a state, a State government is limited in what it can do in a City and a City laws are decided upon by the people who live there.
That is NOT Anarchist!!!
PizzaGod 2 years ago 3
His anti-federalist talk is nothing but a political posturing and ploy to get some votes. When he comes to receiving earmarks (federal dollars) he is never an anti-federalist. In a single year he received 400 million dollars in earmarks.
He loads up earmark bills with earmarks and to show he is anti-federalist he votes against his own earmark filled bill when it becomes pretty clear that his vote wont affect the outcome therefore he gets to have it both ways.
TheFringeCult 2 years ago
