  • @Play671

    Thx =)

  • @skmCry

Another thing I forgot to say, you just gave me a great idea. = D

    For my map. :)

  • Can't believe this video has so many views yet so few ratings... I MEAN C'MON PPL! THIS GUY OBVIOUSLY KICKS ASS! How do I explain it? : LOOK AT HIS RIVER. :D lol

  • This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. There should be an adventure game with graphics similar to Crysis just so that you can explore, maybe like through Middle-Earth.

  • it can look much better-thrust me :D

  • @h8s2 Well, the cryengine does support maps of 64x64 kilometers in size, but it will probably be a while before any computer can play a map that big as you may have guessed!

  • Not with Crysis's graphics anyhow.

  • man, when i try to load river texture it says that it gets qualitty loss and i cant use it

  • mhm never heard from this error:

select the river and press "m" on your keyboard.

when go to the folder: Materials\Ocean\river_sphere and click on it.

after that select the button "assign material to selection", right at the top of the material editor.

    hope it works....

maybe you can upload a screenshot of that error message

  • OK, i uploaded a picture ( i hope it works). This eror is extremely annoying though...

  • where have you uploaded it? i can´t see it.

you can send me the link via pm on youtube.

  • Dude did you use a water volume for that river or a "river" What texture does the river have?

  • I used a river: Materials\ocean\river_sphere Speed: 20 Fog Density: 0.08 Fog Color: 17,45,66 Fog Color Multipler: 1,7 UScale: -0.5 VScale: 5 On the river place a particle effect (water.ocean_spray.carrier_wake) with the values: Count Scale: 0.2 Scale: 4 Speed Scale: 1 Now you have the water and the water flow. With the particle effect (water.flowing_ocean.slower) you can create little waterfalls and rapids.
  • WOW! Cheers fella. More than I was hoping for. I love the PC community. Thanks again.

  • Tut? PLEASE!?!?!

  • dude all ur maps are awsome #:)

  • Dude, Crysis DOMINATES Bioshock in every single graphical aspect....thats including water you silly goose! There is nothing (yet) which looks as good as Crysis - both technically and artistically.

  • That's complete idiocy; Crysis and Bioshock shouldn't be compared, they are both graphically brilliant games in their own rights. The architecture in Bioshock is stunning, but doesn't have Crysis' realism. Bioshock doesn't have every technical graphic capability in it, but Crysis on the other hand has had alot of work put into the graphics, and these advances are one of the main parts in Crysis. Though, both games are graphically stunning in their own ways.

  • well you can compare engines, and bioshock bases on unreal 3, a modified one. so its not meant to have super high res textures or perfect lighting. its also a console game, crysis was supposed to be the best looking game ever, when released, that was the goal.

  • well farcry is olmost there with crysis man check it out crysis still has better textures but far cry is there 2

  • How do you extract the music from crysis?

  • I'm not sure but GCFScape might be the right program. There is also soundtrack CD in crysis special edition package.

  • The water effects look so real it could even rival Bioshock.
