the real easter wasnt a celebration of jesus silly....its the goddess of fortility also known as goddes of love(sex) and they got the bunnies cuz they hump alot and the egg from the egg of fertlization and it was sppring and it was time to come to life with everything else on the earth(plants and animals) lived wonderful, think why would they celebrate easter before jesus was ever born...bth jesus is the sun do your reshearch dont argue with me, no point.

I don't know why n1c3j0b was negged...he's right. Why are eggs prevailent as a symbol of Easter? Because they're a symbol of fertility that was used by the pagans, who celebrated the seasons. Incidentally, the winter celebration we call christmas was originally called Yule or Yule-tide.

These celebrations OUTDATE christianity and to gain popularity, the story of the bible was made to fit around many other traditions.
