I remeber Bridget saying to Sam in the van get home then save Ginger then save me then Sam says to Bridget then what and Bridget says to Sam run so mabey in some ways Ginger Bridget could no be save completly.

good film, i remember seeing this a long time ago, through out the movie i couldnt get over how hot ginger is, (i recently looked the actress up on wikipedia, she is 30 now and she hasnt aged at all) i think the sequel to this ginger is not technically in it properly but she is like a ghost or somthing in brigittes mind. the prequel one is good as well

In Unleashed Ginger is still dead, she's more just kind of a ghost or an apparition. In Ginger Snaps Back it's supposed to take place a long time before the first movie, so the Ginger and Brigitte that appear in Ginger Snaps Back are their ancestors

(plus the cure doesn't work) Plus ginger wanted to die. Plus in the sequel it shows that the 'cure' doesn't even take effect if the change is that advanced

Noooo, I was so ready for a happy ending! All the way I was like "Nah, she's got the antidote and of course she'll inject it in the last moment. Ginger will be normal again and then they both live happily ever after".

This ending got me all depressed =( Great movie though, one of the best I've ever seen!

@edwardismyangel7 I assume their mother was still at the party waiting or looking for them. She's not in the second movie because Brigette had to estrange herself from her family. I mean...when you think about it, it's kind of hard to explain to your parents that the dead werewolf in your bedroom is your sister, not to mention telling them that you'll also be turning into a werewolf yourself. They would have locked her up in a mental institution haha.

This is such a sad ending. No matter how many times I see this movie the ending is still depressing. It's interesting to see just how different both girls became in the end compared to the beginning and just how radically different their situation became over a short 4 week period.

@SIycan Yeah I guess it was an accident, but like, she didn't want the antidote anyways she wanted to be "popular", it's all kind of a metaphor for puberty and the horrors and mood swings and stuff that accompany it, like how girls destroy themselves to gain status which generally doesn't end well with them, but the movie could've ended alot better.
