  • One of the best movies in my lifetime and I'm only 17 I remember watching this and now that I watch it again and I hate that they didn't make a second one lol

  • I though he was dead or had broken his back! It make me cryT.T! That kid was so sweet. His mother must have donated at least $1000 since Joe saved her kid's life. I would be greatful 4ever and visit him every year on the date he saved the kid's life.

  • Thank you for posting this movie. Brought me back to my childhood. I'm now 26 and this movie still makes me cry.

  • After years of watching the trailer for this movie from my VHS of The Lion King back in my childhood, I finally watched the actualy movie. I am eighteen years old LOL!

I think he should 'almost died' by saving the blonde girl (protagonist) whose name I do not remember, not some random kid.

  • 5:45

In the words of Carl Denham

"It was Beauty killed the Beast"

  • 4:54 "get these people back" riight, they doin too much.

  • Jason's mother is married to Harry in real life.

  • im 16 and i still cry at this part

  • I grew up on movie & I'm 15! We have it on tape but we need it on DVD! It's a shame you gotta come online to watch a classic like this! They don't know what a good movie is on Disney! I stop watching Disney when I was about 10 when they wanted to show these bull crap shows (Hannah Montana, ANT Farm, etc.) & movies!

  • lmao I watched this a million times as a kid but I couldn't remember for sure if Joe survives.. so here I am, bawling my eyes out shouting, "come on Disney, it's a f***ing Disney movie, the good guys always gotta live!!!"

  • I agree this part always makes me cry no matter how many times I've seen it-3 love you big uu!

  • this scene, no matter how many times i have seen it, no matter how many sad scenes i have seen. this is the only scene that makes me cry over and over again.

  • if i´m there i want to give money to joe too...!!!

  • the last part.really make me crying.

  • 61dobbie man is the real animal

  • I were 5yr old when this was made, I still love it

  • This movie still makes me want to cry after all these years!

  • i feel like such a baby cryin at this part. no matter how any times i've seen it, i always seem to cry at the end.

we need to put the classics, like this one, back on the disney channel.

  • Omg this part always makes me cry and i love joes eyes they are soo georgous

  • i cryd thru ths whole movie.

  • THESE ARE CLASSICAL MOVIE

  • Can't wait for the sequel, Mighty Joe Young II: Joe meets his father (King Kong).

  • i cried when i saw julie young [charlize theron] hugging mighty joe thinking that he was already gone. the words that came out off julie young's lips were very touching. it pricked my heart. i cried!

  • One of Disney s best. I think we could all take a lesson from the love in Joe's heart. The world would be a much better place if people were like him. So tell me,who's the real animal in this movie?

  • I've always loved this movie! I used to have this movie around the time of 9-11(sarcastically... Great time to have it huh?-__-) i was 8 years old at the time i'm now 18 years old and still today i cry at the amusement park scene. I love Mighty Joe Young!

  • I can't believe I'm 19 and still cry at the ferris wheel part. One of my most favorite movies ever. Thanks for downloading it :)

  • Thank you for downloading this movie, by far one of my favorites, and now i must go to wal mart and by more tissue lol :D

  • Don't you just love happy endings? Great movie one of my favorites.

  • A good Disney movie that's not PIXAR! =D

  • SOBBING

  • I was at a amusement park somewhere in Texas called WOW, I saw a ferris and I remembered Joe saving a little boy who got stuck at the top and fell down. It was just a flashback.

  • I was expecting a louder bang when he hit the ground if i'm honest. A 2000 pound gorilla should be louder than "thud"

  • By far cutest and sweetest movie

  • Is Jason the same boy from the begining of the film? The boy that's in the car who Joe waves too?

  • I love this film. I can relate to it so much. My mother was killed and was completely in love with wildlife and i've always wanted to do the same, and she wanted me too do it aswell.

    R.I.P Mum <3

  • @KAYJAY48 My sympathys

    My freind

  • One of the most beautiful films I've ever seen. awesome! love it!

  • the ending always makes me cry!!!!! :'(

  • I love this movie. :)

  • why don't they show movies like this anymore. i mean, the movies today are good (excluding hannah montana, twilight, or hsm) but these movies were done with hard work and lots of props, not special effects or computers. i would like to, just once, see this movie on disney channel, because this is a classic. a disney classic. Walt would want this, not highschool musicals or a stupid girl trying to make it big, when really she's going the opposite direction. THIS is a real Disney Movie

  • @Goregothe sometimes the play the old movies at 1am on dinsey channel

  • Man, I have not seen this movie in about 10 years, and it's still just so good. That part with the ferris wheel still gets me.

It would be cool if Disney went back to making movies like this.

  • This makes me cry almost as much as John Coffey's death in the Green Mile! Great film just becauser it's corny Disney fare! xD

  • This film is so cheesy but that just makes it soo good!

  • same, i've seen this so many times and always cry to this part and the beginning!!! :(

  • One of the best movies I've ever seen, easily top ten!

  • god this scene makes me baaawl

everything from joe being so kind to save the boy, to joe almost dying & eventually the massive outpouring of money from the people :3 such a great disney flick

  • My dad came home with this movie when I was 7 or 8 yrs old. I would watch this film with my brothers and sister all the time as a child. (18 now)

  • I saw the original in as a child and I enjoy this as well. I teared then as I did now. Peace

    God bless

  • This is a remake of the original film, MIGHTY JOE YOUNG. I remember seeing the original years ago and it always stuck with me. Shades of King Kong here, but not as dramatic. Brilliant film all the same.

  • this is the first time ive seen it and i burst out in tears. this is a wonderful movie 10/10!

  • jasons mom was awesome with the crying scene...thats how a real mom would act...i wish gorillas were as big and cuddly like that...basically i wish mighty joe young was real haha and i love when joe looks at the little boy in shock thinking "theres a little boy up there!" or how the light hits jills face when joe is alive and he gently touches her cheek...oh i cant stop crying!!!

  • Beauty and the Beast 2!! wonderfull!!

  • oh my god the ending always makes me cry

  • @forrealll411 You and me both. The first time I saw the end right after Joe died and lived, I walked into the bathroom and dried my eyes.

  • I'm 18 years old and I can't stop crying because the make-believe giant gorilla is alive!! Movies are magic :)

  • @NiNjABUg22 This movie makes me cry everytime!

  • @NiNjABUg22 18? I'm 22 and tear up evertime I see this.

  • @NiNjABUg22 LOL IM ALMOST 20 AND I CANT STOP CRYING LOL! DONT FEEL BAD!

  • love this movie i havent seen it since i was a lil girl lol

  • I agree 100 percent on what everyone has to say about the music. Mighty Joe has a horribly underrated soundtrack(it's criminal almost). It's also very rare for any movie to get me teary eyed, but this movie(this scene patricular) really hit home. :(

  • oh man

you skipped the abnormally beautiful and moving credits music

for those of you who dont know, type in windsong. mighty joe young has the greatest soundtrack i have ever heard in my life

  • I know... It's one of my favorite soundtracks of all time too. :D But other people already have it on yt ;)

  • @MarisaMovies what did jill said in the end?.. i cant quite hear it.. something like "....armours just a legend. i say legends live forever.."? thanks ahead. and thanks for uploading this one great movie..

  • the little boy was so sweet. I got some money for Joe, lawd this made me cry!

  • Yeah! Jason was a good kid to do that and you could tell his mom was proud of him for doing that!

  • I really enjoyed this film, thank you so much for the upload. It was better than I anticipated. 5 stars for this movie

  • just watched the whole movie all i can say is amazing!!!!!!

  • 123bubblegirl it doesnt matter if it was just some singles he still helped

  • joe is very smart cuz he knows whats right from wrong

  • ferris wheel tips over on the police car and smashed it

  • this part has the ferris wheel tip over and that might joe young saves a boy and mighty joe young looks like king kong but that not what the movie is about

  • i absolutely looooove this movie!

  • Hate that part, it always reduces me to a sobbing wreck. And the accent on Jason's mother makes me want to punch her until she's unconscious. Awesome film though, should be re-released in cinemas worldwide.

  • awesome movie 10/5

  • Everytime I see the ferris wheel scene I cry like a baby...

  • Everytime I see the ferris wheel seen I cry like a baby...

  • every time I see this movie and the ferries wheel part I burst out into tears thinking he risked his life for jason its soo unfair he shouldn't die and I think its so sweet when jason gives money which is probly like some singles

  • I love how the kid pitched in to help Joe after Joe had saved him giving an example that then everyone followed. And yes Gorillas are and can be very kind there are 2 examples in real life of Gorillas actually helping kids in distress that have fallen into their enclosements.
