I remember when this song came out in 1976. I was only 8yrs old. I thought it was such a great tune then and it's only gotten better as the years have gone by. Kiss is awesome!
@Mrsilenciobackgammon Yes. I read in the 1970s that KISS front-man Paul Stanley had written Hard Luck Woman with the intention of selling it to Stewart. But when Criss heard it, he loved the tune & had to plead with Stanley to let him record it for KISS instead. As Criss had just recorded one of KISS' biggest hits — then & now — ironically the tender ballad "Beth," on KISS' previous studio album, "Destroyer," Stanley wisely decided to let Criss record the song for the "Rock and Roll Over" album.
My God... 1976 seems like forever ago. Wish we could go back. The world sooo sucks now.
