If there were, notice that the lantern battery says "Heavy Duty" which means that it is the lowest grade battery available. I'm going to try it. I have opened many batteries and never exploded as the top comment suggests. ;P Most (not all) 9v batteries have 6 AAAA size cells. 6V batteries are used with high drain devices so it makes sense 32 cells ran series/parallel will give insane a/hr. Like 9V i'm sure it depends on the manufacturer as to the cell type in each.
