I listen to deathcore, but also listen to Christian bands and country that sings about God (and I am on the line of being an atheist). It's all about the sound, and how it appeals to the mind.

I don't thing that he would say the word you all have been talking about in a song. But he did use the cuss word that means "illigitimate child" in his song "monster monster." There's no doubt The Almost is a little rough around the edges. But I don't think that means he's not a Christian. I'm not saying this is a good thing, but there are a lot worse Christians than him. They may come around someday. Learning to life a Christlike life takes a lot of "blood, sweat and tears" and time.

But over the years it has gone from it's literal meaning, to have a more negative conotation. It is now used, ironicaly, illigitimately, and as an insult. That was the point I intended to make. I'm not saying they are profane, or that I won't listen to their music. Just the opposite is true. But, they're rough around the edges, and I believe that to be a simple , fair, and true observation.
