I do it before I even get there. First thing I did when I saw it, because I fucking hate sirens. They make me nervous.

@ValentineIV In my subsequent playthroughs I'm definitely going to do that. I just discovered it for myself by hitting it on accident while taking potshots down on the military's reinforcements, then loaded my latest save (about 20 minutes back :s) to try it again and record it to share with other STALKERs that may not have known about it either. :)
