Sad to say, most suicides I've heard of are Catholic or other religions. I know all religions have suicides. JW's are no more suicide than any other. I think they have less. If they continue to come to meetings, they are living a clean life-free of these sins, and show repentance, they will most likely be returned to their former standing.

The word paradise DOES occur MORE THAN one time in the bible-Revelation 2:7,..."to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which in in the midst of the paradise of God."Jesus promised the evildoer who died next to him at Luke 23:43,"Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." Coinsidenlty the word "Paradise" is in the bible only four times-and each time it referring to HEAVEN....so where is paradise? Heaven! The word “righteous” in Hebrew means JUST-the root word for justification. The justification of believers during OT times was exactly the same as the justification of NT believers. @eternityandforever If your theology is corrrect then YOU NEED to answer this question: If Jehovah "created" Jesus and then Jesus created ALL [other] things (NWT), then in Genesis 2:21-22 why did Jehovah "create" man rather then Jesus if Jesus was supposed to create ALL OTHER things? In Mexico, the WTS looked the other way when JW had to inlist in the draft (aquire a draft card) and when the JW's in Malawi and to inlist in a census the WTS had them refused. Two problems: a) if it's NEW it is NOT true because what is TRUE is NOT New! b) If the WTS covers the "old" truth with "new" truth, doesn't that mean that the old truth was was not truth but a lie, because you cannot have two truths because truth does NOT cancel out truth - huge problem. Sad to say, most suicides I've heard of are Catholic or other religions. I know all religions have suicides. JW's are no more suicide than any other. I think they have less. We have the best hope of God's kingdom coming soon, a real hope for a peaceful, perfect world. There is nothing BETTER to live for! I hear so many people say they are so glad they studied the bible with JW's as they were just about to end their life when Jehovah helped save them. I am not exaggerating, either. I am one such.

God wants people to have children in a family unit, after marriage first. Children grow up more secure and happy with both parents. @thebibleanswerman1 When a person is shunned for these most common reasons: fornication, drunkeness, smoking, adultery; they can be re-instated after about 6 months or so. If they continue to come to meetings, they are living a clean life-free of these sins, and show repentance, they will most likely be returned to their former standing.

In vs.14 it continues to say that they are to keep this one 'marked' and stop associating with him.
