Thanks for the nice comments. The people that take the micky out of people like us, don't know what they missed. I sometimes wish I could go back to those times again. it seemed a much better place to be. All we had to worry about was whether our tea was on the table at the end of the day. Endless adventures, Jubblys, chips in newspaper, and steam!! Who needed PS3s etc, eh?
These (and other) sound Locos are fantastic - I can't help thinking how we are now being transformed into "virtual reality" instead of watching the real thing and entering the "robotic" age which was always the butt of jokes and 'play' in the 60's (Thunderbirds / Fireball XL5 / Stingray) etc etc.! Nice piece though.
