Soltoy....We scored even bigger with Michael Brantley. Hitting.391 in Spring Training and they aren't sure they are sending him down. He'll be in Cleveland and leading off in front of Grady soon either way... Laporta and Brantley for a guy you rented for a couple of months! What were the Brewers thinking??!!

the brewers have so many other great players in reserve that they could afford this move to make a push to get to the playoffs for the 1st time in 25 years. LaPorta isn't needed for them because everyone else they already have. CC is the reason the brewers made the playoffs no doubt. it was a win win trade

Brewers have one of, if not the best farm system in the majors, trust me when i say we have plenty of guys coming that will be just as good if not better.

Being from Wisconsin, i am pretty sure this kid's future is at third. Braun is in left, Hart in right, and Gwynn jr in center eventually will all start for the Brewers. Prince has first locked but Bill Hall has requested a trade and will be out after this year.

gamel is gonna be 3rd basement. Thats probably with out question. LaPorta is a good utility guy but a really solid 1st baseman. God forbid, if Scott Boras keeps prince from us and we loose him, LaPorta's gonna be playing 1st

With his bat, they'll find room for him. Whomever possesses the best arm between Braun and LaPorta will likely move to right field. You'd like to think they'll have the sense to realize that LaPorta shouldn't be held down because of a perceived logjam at a position.

He's playing RF in AA right now so he can come up whenever they need him but I think they are gonna wait until he spends some time in AAA. It's not good to bring up a young player too early it could ruin him

They just keep coming. Another guy on his way is Mat Gamel.

The problem comes with defense with all of these young kids. All of them are defensively challenged and Mat Gamel was even worse at third than Braun,if that is even possible.
